finally putting this out into the world my idem already helps with client follow-ups, learning Russian and hunting down obscure books. all in one place, and I’m still finding new things to hand it. very excited for you to get your hands on this
we've been talking about @tryidem for a while here, it's time we officially introduce it. 🥁 a personal agent shouldn’t be a finished product. an agent becomes “personal” by getting to know you. we’re launching idem: you shape it through conversation. every interaction adds to what it knows about you. • over time, it becomes another you, uniquely capable because you trained it. • all that accumulated context is yours to own, edit, and take anywhere. • idem is built to handle both complex work and personal tasks. if you’re happy to buy a ready-to-use template, there are plenty of tools for that. if you’re eager to invest some time in building an agent that knows you, I can assure you idem will change the way you work. join the waitlist, or comment “tokens” for $100 in idem usage and priority access.

my idem just mulled over our convos last night and proactively suggested this super useful workflow for my language learning. pretty neat!

Went down a rabbit hole on where US state names come from and ended up making a map hehe Texas is Caddo, Alaska is Aleut, New Mexico is Spanish + Nahuatl. I also included origins for every state so you can read what they mean! (link to the map below)

Working on several things at once gets messy when everything happens in the same thread. Each task needs its own conversation, where you can follow its progress, ask a question or pick it up later without getting in the way of the others.

Next Wednesday, 28 October, we’re bringing a group of founders together for an open conversation about Europe’s role in AI: what we’re building here, what’s holding us back, and what we can do about it. We’ll have a round table with @danipolymath from @SupersonikAI and Victor García from @NeuralTrustAI, followed by an open conversation where everyone can join in and ask questions. Then food and drinks. The event will take place at @Itnig, in Barcelona. If you’re interested, join via the link below! luma.com/zmqoj24c

Holy shit idem is making launch videos now...
a personal agent should save you work, including having to read more text choosing an option or approving an action shouldn't require another prompt "no new interfaces" is a weird goal when the old one gets in the way

Hot take: paying for a workout app feels pointless now, and expensive as shit. I use my personal AI assistant, idem, to build my workouts and track my progress for free. I’m not sure what a workout app gives me that I can’t already get from idem.

Did you know Barcelona built a hotel that could hold 2,000 guests in 1888, then demolished it the next year? I built a page with idem where you can find out about that and other lost oddities below 👇

Idem proactively went back and scheduled a meeting for me after an OpenAI was having model issues that blocked it from being able to schedule. Amazing stuff!

This is what personal agents like @tryidem are made to do and they don't require you to share sensitive info with a third party to get it done.
Este finde he estado cookeando Spain Assist. Un agente de IA open source que automatiza todos tus trámites con la administración.

If your personal AI agent doesn't let you download your files perhaps you need to find a new agent.

I almost dropped Jev for OpenAI's Decisions API. It can see screenshots now, so it felt like an easy call. 168 test runs later, I'm glad I checked. For real-life cases, Jev is still faster and cheaper. Here's all the results (🧵 1/5)

As a language learner, one of my favourite things to do is read books. I made this assisted reader for all levels for Chekhov’s The Lady with the Dog to help me read in Russian. Click words for meanings and grammar, translate passages, or listen paragraph by paragraph. You can also save vocab and export it as a CSV to import into Anki. Link below, it's completely free with no signup. If there's any feature you'd like me to add lmk!
