It's crazy that sports discourse has devolved into people watching a player average 40 PPG on a team that is tied for the best record in the NBA... and be like "here's why that's actually bad" rather than just enjoying it.

Pittsburgh 6’9 Forward Chase Foster put together one of the best first day High Major Freshmen performances. Foster finished with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks while shooting 7/12 from the field and 3/4 from three in his team’s win. Foster showcased his shotmaking and craft at his height using his athleticism to get to his spots at the rim, on and off the ball, and consistently getting to his spots as a spot up shooter from the mid range and from three as well. Foster also showcased his potential on the defensive end with his length and athleticism. Foster has the potential to be one of the biggest breakout freshmen in college basketball this season, and showcased his ability today.

You can’t really overstate how ridiculous what Flagg is doing is. He’s 19 years old avg 27/6/7 on 65% TS. The leap in shotmaking & scoring polish is incredible. He’s 29/44 (65.9%) on intermediate 2Pers. Executing teams with the floater & midrange. Not 20 yet. Truly insane stuff.
