Finding your next DC! Tonight’s the night, we’re hosting our Name Generation Event tonight from 6:30pm at Birkenhead Scout Centre!
We hope to see loads of you there, to help us find the next Lead Volunteer for Birkenhead.
A reminder that there will be a national test of the UK Emergency Alerts today at 3pm.
Your mobile phone or tablet may make a loud siren-like sound (even if it’s set on silent), vibrate or read out the alert. To find out more about the alerts, visit: gov.uk/alerts

Thanks to @birkenheadscout for inviting me to @BirkenheadGS at @gladthea this evening. Back after a 4 year COVID break it was a tremendous show with a cast of over 50 singing and dancing with passion & talent. Well done to all those behind the scenes too #SkillsforLife
Still can’t believe our host District is where scouting was publicly inaugurated! #Birkenhead #Wirral
115 years ago today, @scouts were publicly inaugurated by Baden Powell right here in #Birkenhead on the #Wirral!

A fantastic opportunity to continue empowering our young people, and shaping Scouts of the future in @MerseysideScout.
Myself and @alexclark_x have been privileged to be CYC’s over the past few years, and we are proud to see the impact of Youth Shaped Scouting in the county. – at Birkenhead, England

We will remember them. We will remember the servicemen, servicewomen and service animals who have given their today for our tomorrow.
This morning we joined together with Girl Guides and other local community groups for our act of remembrance. #LestWeForget #Wirral

We’re deeply saddened by the death of Our Patron, HM The Queen. A dedicated supporter of Scouts, Her Majesty has been a peerless role model for our young people.
Our thoughts are with the Royal Family.
