🚨 NEW EPISODE PREMIERES TONIGHT JULY 7 • 7:00 PM EDT 🚨
This Canadian photonic quantum computing company raised nearly US$600 million to reinvent computing.
They also went public on March 27, 2026 and is now trading on both the @Nasdaq and the Toronto Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol XNDU.
👉Their mission: build quantum computers that are useful and available to people everywhere.
In the next episode of @oaupod , I sit down with Christian Weedbrook @_cweedbrook, founder and CEO of @XanaduAI , to explore the vision, mindset, and engineering challenges behind building one of the world’s leading quantum computing companies.
Since its founding, Xanadu has raised nearly US$600 million and built Aurora — the world’s first modular, networked photonic quantum computer, a major milestone on the path toward scalable quantum computing.
In this episode, we discuss:
⚛️ Why quantum computing matters, and what Xanadu is building
🎬 Christian’s unconventional journey—from film school dropout to physicist, founder, and CEO
🧠 The mindset required to build a company tackling one of the biggest engineering challenges of our time
🌍 The breakthroughs quantum computing could unlock and the challenges that still remain
🏢 Plus, Christian takes us inside Xanadu’s quantum computing lab for an exclusive look at Aurora and the technology shaping the future of computing.
📅 Premieres July 7 at 7:00 PM EDT on YouTube.

As we get closer to 2030… Remember, you’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy. 🙃

I really want to be positive about Canada but…
so many people I know who run their own businesses either left the country to live elsewhere because of the cost of living here and the opportunity to make more money elsewhere…
or want to leave the country. 😔
Is it that bad or am I just in an echo chamber?
All I want is someone to go through life with, have fun with, fight with, and process everything happening in the world with… including the US midterm. 🤪
Last minute skipping my DJing class.🎶
Gonna do some work and follow the US midterms at home instead. 🙃
One thing I’ve always noticed is how many people born and raised in developed countries like Canada with a victim mindset aren’t even victims, yet they’ve somehow found a way to position themselves as such to create “art” and build a name for themselves in media and the arts.
You see this particularly often in cities like Montreal and Toronto.
As though having parents, aunts, and uncles who helped them get into prestigious universities and opened doors to opportunities most people could only dream of weren’t enough.
Now, they have to perform victimhood, too, and turn it into an identity to give themselves some edge or to stand out and get attention.
However, it’s so common now that it’s so obvious how performative it is.
Like, if you are born in Canada and you’ve got relatives or parents who opened up doors for you, you’ve lived a life of privilege, and you didn’t escape poverty or war or some abusive environment/relationship or oppressive regime, you’re not a victim.
You’re a performer and an attention seeker.
Who are you going to have by your side during the cyber pandemic of 2027-2030?
Most people have no idea what’s coming.🤯
supermarkets in sweden, belgium, luxembourg, estonia, ireland, the netherlands and finland hit by cyberattacks on their refrigeration systems
some freezer controls set to 50°C. stores forced to throw away food
this is only the beginning
very few things are going to matter more than cybersecurity in the next few years
While 6 planets are in retrograde 👀

Many Canadians may not like him, but seriously, how many companies are building something like this right now that could genuinely improve the lives of people with disabilities?
You don’t have to like someone to recognize innovation when you see it.
🚨New Original & Unconventional @oaupod episode is now on YT.
In this episode, I sit down with Montreal-based business owner Kaz for an unfiltered conversation about solitude, vulnerability, masculinity, relationships, and the people we choose to surround ourselves with.
From why you should be selective about whom you trust with your weaknesses to why good women finish last too, we challenge conventional wisdom about men, women, relationships, and success.
🎙️Is vulnerability always a strength, or does it depend on who you're vulnerable with?
Drop your take in the comments.

It’s so important to choose a partner who is financially mindful and pays attention to what’s happening in the world, particularly when it comes to making sound financial decisions.
Many people are so driven by ego and confirmation bias that they become convinced their predictions about the future are correct. They ignore new information, whether it comes from geopolitical tensions, market trends, technological disruptions, or cultural shifts, simply because it challenges what they already believe.
Sometimes, people become so attached to predictions they’ve publicly made that admitting they might be wrong becomes an ego issue rather than a rational decision.
But the ability to reassess your position when new information emerges is a strength, not a weakness.
And when it comes to building a life with someone, that kind of intellectual humility and financial awareness matters.
