Dwight Powell Fenerbahçe Tarfin’de! ✍️💛💙
Fenerbahçe Tarfin Erkek Basketbol Takımımız, son olarak NBA’de Dallas Mavericks forması giyen, forvet ve pivot pozisyonlarında oynayabilen Kanadalı uzun oyuncu Dwight Powell (2.08cm - 1991) ile sezon sonuna dek anlaşmaya varmıştır.
20 Temmuz 1991 tarihinde Toronto’da dünyaya gelen Powell, kolej kariyerine Stanford Üniversitesi formasıyla başladı. Üniversitedeki ilk yılında 31 maçın 26’sında ilk beşte yer alan Dwight Powell, 8.1 sayı ve 5.2 ribaund ortalamalarıyla oynadı. 2012-13 sezonunda gösterdiği performansla PAC-12 Yılın En İyi Gelişim Gösteren Oyuncusu ödülünün sahibi olan Powell, 34 maçta 14.9 sayı ve 8.4 ribaund ortalamalarını tutturdu. Üniversitedeki son senesinde ise 14.0 sayı, 6.9 ribaund ortalaması, başarılı oyuncuyu All-Pac-12 yılın en iyi beşine taşıdı.
2014 NBA Draftlarında 45. Sıradan Charlotte Hornets tarafından seçilen Powell’ın hakları Cleveland Cavaliers’a devredildi. Cavaliers ile yaz liginde mücadele eden Dwight Powell, Eylül ayında ise Boston Celtics’in yolunu tuttu. Boston Celtics forması giydiği dönemde NBA Gelişim Ligi takımlarından Maine Red Claws’ta çift yönlü kontratla forma giydi.
Aralık 2015’te Rajon Rondo ile birlikte Boston Celtics’ten Dallas Mavericks’e geçen Dwight Powell, 2019 yılında Washington Wizards potasına bıraktığı 26 sayı ile kariyer rekorunu kırdı. 2021-22 sezonunda 82 maçta forma giyerek NBA’de bunu başaran beş oyuncudan biri olarak tarihe geçti. Kanadalı oyuncu 2023-24 sezonunda Dallas Mavericks formasıyla NBA Finali oynadı.
Dwight Powell’a ‘Ailemize hoş geldin!’ diyor, Çubuklu formamızla başarılar diliyoruz.

Full highlights package on Kelly Olynyk's 38 point performance for Roma over the weekend. He seems to be settling in over there and showing people he still has something left in the tank. youtu.be/WyeVD0ol7WU

66 former NBA players moved to Europe this summer.
The list includes players who didn't play in Europe after their most recent NBA stint. Here they go:
Alex Antetokounmpo, 6 games, Promitheas
Thanasis Antetokounmpo, 232 games, Aris
Amari Bailey, 10 games, Hapoel Be'er Sheva

Both are reasonable rosters. I’d move Kabengele up — Herbert has been quite clear that he’ll run a nine-man rotation, and Fi should be part of it. If Olynyk keeps playing in Europe, which I believe is his intention, I see him more as a deep-bench option. Sharpe will only make the team if he’s actually in the rotation. Max Meyer — love the upside, but it’s hard to believe he’ll be Olympic-ready at just 20 years old.
