Being on @Naaackers podcast was great fun. If you want an insight into how I got where I am & what I do now, go check it out!
Weirdest part of this experience was that I kept forgetting specific terminology - "Angular", "elderly", etc. See if you can spot it when it happens. 😂
ICYMI, last week we did a podcast with @WizardCM - a community moderator and contributor for @OBSProject . I might be biased, but I think it was a great episode. It's been uploaded to all platforms in case you want to check it out.
I loved Wandavision.
I think Stargate is well overdue for a female showrunner.
This has great potential.
But I don't trust Amazon's current execs to respect the existing work and lore.
I hope they don't shaft Jac like they did Martin.

We're now in the RC stage for 33.0! This will be what's released as 33.0 unless a big issue is found.
It's impossible for us to test every web-based tool and plugin out there so we need your help.
You can always go back to 32.2 if you have issues too!

When I need a laugh, there is only one franchise I always come back to.
It has been with me since I was 10.
And it will be with me when even @PrimeVideo is no more.
#SaveStargate
You could throw every Stargate episode into a randomiser, and practically every one of the 350+ would be fun and thought-provoking. Sure, most would benefit from the rich history of its backlog for context. But they're well written and stand well on their own. #SaveStargate
We are constantly inundated with *very* average storytelling. depressing post-apocalyptic movies, and the disappointment of single-season 8-episode incomplete stories.
Sci-Fi used to be incredible. Stargate could bring us back to greatness. #SaveStargate
It's incredibly disappointing watching a company as rich as @AmazonMGMStudio, who can get insights & feedback from the smartest people in the industry, fumble something as easy as a Stargate revival by Martin Gero. He is your best choice. #SaveStargate
Do you love Science Fiction?
How about deep lore?
Consistently awesome storytelling?
If you aren't part of the Stargate fandom, now is the time!
Start with the 1994 movie.
Then start SG-1 via Children of the Gods Final Cut!
You will love it, I promise.
#SaveStargate
15 years after Stargate Universe went off the air, there is an active community of fans who have survived through multiple broken promises who just want Martin Gero's Stargate to become reality. @AmazonMGMStudio - you have the power. #SaveStargate
Via the @SaveStargateHQ Watch Parties I have been painfully reminded of the incredible quality of storytelling and writing present throughout Stargate. Your cancellation means we ALL miss out @AmazonMGMStudio. #SaveStargate

Testers need!
OBS Studio 33.0.0 BETA is now available.

As a Major version (32 -> 33), this is when we perform bigger under the hood changes.
Community testing and reports are always crucial for us, but ESPECIALLY for Major version numbers!

Hey @OBSProject power users! Making heavy use of browser sources or docks?
The Chrome 150 update has been merged! And we need YOU to help test!
You can either select the "nightly" branch on Steam, or manually download an artifact here (requires login): github.com/obsproject/obs-st…
This has been a ton of work, and you can find my full write up here: github.com/obsproject/obs-st…
I'm super excited to see this rolled out in the next major OBS Studio update!

Who cancels a series based on one of the most successful franchises in entertainment history with well over 350 episodes across 18 seasons that, even after 15 years of no new episodes, still commands an international fanbase of millions?
Apparently #AmazonMGM
#SaveStargate
Entirely Unsurprising: Martin Gero, an expert in his field and Stargate veteran, knew what he was doing.
Daniel showed up in every previous spinoff to pass the torch. This would have just been the right thing to do in the new show, too. #SaveStargate
BREAKING NEWS
@LexaDoig and @MichaelShanks just confirmed that Michael was going to reprise his role on Martin Gerro's StarGate. #savestargate Michael and Martin are very sad about this. And the new show would respect the fans.
The first season was already written. It was done in a very callous way by Amazon. They are still not over it. @SaveStargateHQ

OBS Studio 32.2 is now available!
Lots more quality of life adjustments and code cleanup as we continue to concentrate on user experience, stability, and long term project health.
The biggest change this patch is the overhauled Add Source window.

It has now been 52 days since @AmazonMGMStudio cancelled the Stargate show they promised. Fans are continuing to actively campaign, including a strong presence at San Diego Comic-Con today. Tomorrow is #SaveStargate day. And there are more events confirmed through to October.
Stargate fans are patient & determined. We have been waiting since 2011. Over the years, Stargate has almost come back to screens over & over. When @AmazonMGMStudio announced Martin Gero's show, the reaction was real - 1,000,000 views on YouTube. Make it happen. #SaveStargate
The 90s, the 2000s, and the early 2010s were a fantastic time for science fiction fans. So many incredible TV shows, written by people who respect the genre, and their audience. Would it be great if those talented people could continue their franchises? #SaveStargate
Right now, another #SaveStargate banner is flying over San Diego Comic-Con. The message is really simple - Stargate fans want Martin Gero to be given the freedom to make his show. It is the best chance for @PrimeVideo to get a return on their @AmazonMGMStudio investment.
