If I can be honest for a moment though, it is really shitty that almost everything I love and put time into either dies or gets completely ruined. Real tough mentally to try to find new things I like, feels like I may be getting a little too jaded. Such is life nowadays though.

I've obviously had some time to think about what I want to focus on after UNITE, and I'm not sure I even have the effort for another game in me. I've been competing/casting for over 20 years, way more than half my life, but I'm not finding the want to pick something else up yet.

Hope I can find something, I want to want to grind something else, haha. Just thinking out loud now that the UNITE announcement is official. Always appreciate the things you love while you can!

As for my thoughts, I really really did love the gameplay of Pokemon Unite. I think it was the best take on a short MOBA that I've ever seen, it had enough of its own identity that it never felt like a watered down MOBA. I've been pre-mourning it for a long time though already.

It gave me some of the most important opportunities of my life, and I got to meet some of my favorite people of all time, especially the other wonderful casters. The game will always mean a lot to me, but I'm unfortunately far too used to having to move on from games I love.

I'm just glad that the Aeos Crown tournament is still happening, even though EoS is somehow before it? Maybe the date is changing? Regardless, one more tournament for a send off is very nice to have. I really hope the EN casters can be a part of it!

Okay right as I tweeted this I see that they changed the date to the 20-21st, so before EoS.

Vicky's new cover is incredible, no matter how many times I hear it I'm always jumpscared by how amazing her voice is. Also her first cover release and it's Sonic? Perfection.

I had a weird spark of inspiration that louisiana hot sauce would be really good on japanese curry, and I can confirm it is a freaking amazing combination.

Cosplay Trackside was awesome once again. Great vibes from the Uma community, lots of amazing artist alley booths, and the entire experience is so cheap and hassle free. I hope they keep running these, and I’ll keep going!
