One time, I was at a Q&A with Nora Roberts, and someone asked her how to balance writing and kids, and she said that the key to juggling is to know that some of the balls you have in the air are made of plastic & some are made of glass.

“Women are under-funded and over-educated, one of our @sheeo_world founders wrote to me recently. Everyone wants to put us through programming and no one wants to write checks/cheques.”

Very helpful advice! Even more relevant when you have young kids, then not much work time. When with your little ones, forget work as you can’t do anything about it in that particular moment, and enjoy your time together.
