This was a year ago. In a few weeks, I will be leading the members of the @WorksCommittee on an oversight visit of this legacy project. How many kilometers have really been completed so far? How many kilometers left for the first phase to be completed? What is the (adjusted) timeline looking like? I’m looking forward to the visit.
First hand insight into the first phase of the 700km, Lagos to Calabar Coastal Road. Big kudos to Mr President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Minister for Works, Sen David Umahi.

Please stop jumping around. What’s unsatisfactory about what? The issue is you tried to tie my name to this motion. I tried to correct you to tell you the house process. You acted like you know how it works and claimed the resolution is based on recommendations of my committee. I took time to explain. You quote to say it’s unsatisfactory. Do you actually 1. Want to learn? 2. Ask a question? 3. Know my opinion about something or 4. Want to troll? I’m available for the first 3. For the 4th, I don’t have the time. Which one?

The resolution was since deleted but it has made the media regardless. Chair @akinalabi has called for a public airing without prejudice to any side on this issue, Nigerians need more transparency and knowledge of the issue which a public hearing will provide.
