The movement to end human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

Eli Savit’s stance on legalizing prostitution is foolish and dangerous. It is the perspective of a social engineer, not a prosecutor.  Not prosecuting johns only leads to more human trafficking.    I stand with anti-trafficking groups like World Without Exploitation. I will demand accountability to combat sex trafficking.  Mr. Savit’s position ignores the realities of the sex trade: buyers are overwhelmingly men, while those being purchased are disproportionately women and girls  —particularly people of color and individuals from foster care and other underserved communities.   He calls this “consensual sex work”.  I call it exploitation of the vulnerable.    As recent events at the national level have made unmistakably clear, purchasers may also include billionaires and other powerful, privileged men who have relied on their wealth and influence to avoid scrutiny and accountability.    As AG, I promise to work towards accountability to hold those who enabled Epstein in Michigan at Interlochen and allowed him to abuse children from Michigan and allow others to abuse them as well. This means looking at the offenders and enablers – and prosecuting the people who are purchasing women and girls every day right here in Michigan. bridgemi.com/michigan-govern…

One year ago today, WorldWE brought Epstein survivors to Capitol Hill. What followed was a year of courage and action: the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act, new survivor protections, and a critical shift in public awareness. The work continues. Help us keep the pressure on. Every gift is matched 1:1, up to $100K. Help keep the pressure on. Donate today: bit.ly/WorldWEDonate

The very late state budget means lawmakers have been in crunch-mode to pass a slew of bills — including one that would increase penalties against some sex traffickers who buy sex from minors. Read more: specne.ws/kx6sAw

During last night’s Super Bowl, an ad by @WorldWEUS reminded people of the ugly truth: Nearly half of the Epstein files are still locked away by the DOJ without explanation. While they hide the truth, Epstein's victims continue to wait for their day of justice.

218 Democrats and Republicans came together to sign the Epstein Files discharge petition. Because this is not a political issue— it’s a human issue. Thank you to the members of Congress who chose to stand with survivors. #StandWithSurvivors #ReleaseTheEpsteinFiles

The Epstein Files Transparency Act puts survivors first while ensuring every person who enabled, facilitated, or profited from exploitation is held accountable. It’s time for survivor-centered action. #StandWithSurvivors

We support The Epstein Files Transparency Act bc silence has always been the abuser's shield. Survivors deserve the truth unsealed, not hidden behind power & privilege. Releasing these files is how we begin to hold system accountable, not just individuals. #StandWithSurvivors

Liz Stein met Maxwell and Epstein at age 21. She was a senior in college. “This is not a partisan issue. It’s a crime. Disbelieving victims creates a culture of silence” which allows sex trafficking to continue.
