my current olympics obsession is henrik christiansen, this swimmer from norway who’s obsessed with the chocolate muffins in the olympic village and can’t stop making tiktoks about them

If you're talking about outsiders invading a local community and destroying it, this is what it looks like. Coked up thugs on a day out. Zero care or consideration for what the people of Southport have been through and continue to go through
Sunrise in Southport. A scene of devastation surrounding the mosque on St Luke’s Road after an angry mob attacked police last night. Bricks, bottles, fireworks sit alongside bits of a burnt out police vehicle - metal melted in the heat. @GMB
God, this is just supremely impressive #sevensheroes

I can’t stand when people undertake a task that is within their job role and say “I’ve done X for you”.
Like it’s a personal favour that benefits just me not a patient/service.
I’m so proud to be a participant in research into fetal development, absolutely anything you can do in any small way to support and make a difference to make this time in pregnant people’s lives safer and calmer is worth it! #researchmatters #sandsuk

Today a doctor on the picket line said to me: “MPs have had a 42.7% increase since 2008, Junior Doctors have had a 25% decrease since 2010. So let’s not have MPs saying that pay restoration for doctors is unaffordable. We have families to feed as well.”
A fair point indeed.
