1. Before I became an author I thought I’d never be asked to speak at literary festivals because all the ones I went to didn’t have ramps. Now I’m proud of my collection of ramp photos taken at the venues I’m asked to speak at. 😀 See it to be it! @LondonBookFair @emblabooks

What's the best way to react to hate? I think it's doing something positive.
Would anyone in the LGBTQ+ community, particularly trans or non-binary writers, like me to take a look at their submission package and give some feedback? I can manage three (for now).

I've cleaned for you this amazing salt print photo of London, taken nearly 200-years ago from Blackfriars Bridge by Henry Cundell. It was taken in 1844 and is the earliest photo of St Paul's and one of the earliest of London itself. Taken only a couple of months after the publication of 'A Christmas Carol' by Charles Dickens, this is an incredible and rare oppotunity to see the real Dickensian London, with St Pauls shrouded and obscured by the thick, smoggy air of old London town. A truly remarkable window through time!

This is what Millie’s family is asking for, just this. Too many people with #SevereME have already died. Please let this be a turning point and let #ME be treated as the biophysical illness that it is for all patients. #DontLetMEDie #BringMillieHome 🙏

I don't want to take away from the wonderful lists of children's books with disability and neurodivergent rep as they're very important. But for anyone looking for YA and adult books with rep, just a reminder that I list my reviews by disability rep 🙂

One of the biggest letdowns from this pandemic was how I expected the accommodations that were created, to stay. The online school and work, Telehealth doctors, streaming new movies; I naively thought these would be a sign to move forward with accessibility. Ableism won again.
