Amelia (Author A. D. Hay)

After a very long #podcasthiatus, I'm finally dusting off my mic 🎙️ Editing has begun. Something new is coming soon to The #AuthorpreneurPodcast.

I’m seriously considering closing Le Villain Book Covers for good. Yes, this is not a joke. And, I’m devastated.

Today, I learned that it's okay for other authors to list comp authors in their book descriptions, but it's not okay for me to do this with a new book under a new pen name. #selfpub #WritingCommunity

For the third time this year, I've been waiting more than two weeks for a book. After no communication from @Waterstones, I'm left to buy it from Amazon and receive it the next day. I want to support your store, but you're making it difficult. #readinglife #waterstones

Adobe have completely lost their minds with their new terms of service. I guess it’s time to find another product.

I purchased a Facebook Course a while ago and have recently started using it. Apparently, I need a 4.2-star rating before advertising my books. If this was on the sales page, I would never have bought it. #selfpublishing

Another quality interaction with the Google Play Books customer service team. I've been trying to upload a 132-page novella for a few hours now. Is it too much to ask them to know their own products?? #googlepay

I just had an Uber driver in Boston driving a seven seater vehicle complain that my husband and I had luggage when he picked us up from our hotel for a drive to the airport. 🙄🧳🚗✈️ #traveling #uber

Why do I always start my podcast year off with a throat infection and chesty cough?! 🎙️😷 #writingcommunity #podcastlife

It turns out that thesaurus.com has turned a great product into something that is now useless. Why is this a trend in tech?

I just realised that I spent #MyTwitterAnniversary ranting about time wasters. Guess who's officially old?! 😂

I just had to tell another PR Agent that I don't want to interview a so-called business expert on my podcast about self-publishing. The real tragedy here is not that I wasted 5 minutes pointing this out to her, but someone is paying her lots of money to do a job poorly. 🙄
