Stop blaming children for how they act. Their actions are dictated by their experiences and their environment. Adults are the problem, setting awful examples and not holding their kids or themselves accountable. Kids haven’t changed, adults have. Kids have adapted accordingly – at Virginia Beach, VA

Preparing athletes for the best case scenario (game demands) & hoping it works when the worst case scenario comes (academics, practice, travel, etc.), is not helping. If their minds & bodies cannot handle preparing in private they won’t get a chance to perform in public.

This :45second clip of @M_Nichol is everything and the only thing that really matters in coaching. All our other conversations and debates are pointless if you can’t do this.
This video details an inconvenient truth for some, but also an undeniable reality that S&C is every bit about managing personalities, politics and social dynamics as it is all things training/testing. Great stuff by @M_Nichol on the #artofcoaching

In strength and conditioning- resumes, a degree & certifications are no longer enough. Build skills that separate you. Seek out uncommon coaching opportunities and quit trying to land “thee” job right out of the gates. Be strategic, not hopeful.
