The US government just finalized the GENIUS Act rules today, and it completely changes the stablecoin game. Starting January 2027, every stablecoin in the US must be 100% backed by cash and US Treasuries. The era of sketchy, unverified reserves is officially dead. This is a massive cheat code for fully compliant tokens like Circle’s USDC and Ripple’s RLUSD. Big bank money is now legally cleared to pour straight into them 😉 On the flip side, offshore tokens like Tether (USDT) get hit with a "foreign issuer" tag. This makes it a massive legal headache for US exchanges to hold them 🤯🧨📉
