Changing the load every swing makes timing almost impossible.
We stopped chasing the “perfect” move and focused on the most comfortable, repeatable one. Because consistency creates timing. – at Richmond, VA

Multi-sport athlete getting swings in during football season
The maturity to understand workload management, prioritize quality over quantity, and make every rep count is what stands out. It’s not always about doing more
2 weeks of work, BIG results. 📈
Lee has gained +2 MPH on the mound and +3 MPH on pulldowns! Plyo ball throws, mobility, mechanical adjustments, and weekly consistency are paying off.
Awesome progress, Lee! Just getting started. 💪
Does your posture affect your swing? ABSOLUTELY.
Different pitch heights and locations require different amounts of tilt to get your body in the right position to hit.
If your hands are doing all the work, you’re probably out of position.

Lee Driscoll jumps from 83 → 86 MPH on pulldowns. 🔥
Cleaning up his mechanics by getting the arm a little deeper into foot strike while training to move FAST with intent. Over-speed training is about creating the intent to move at high velocities.
Med Ball Slammed Tosses
A great drill for hitters to feel their path as they release the med ball into the wall.
Focus points:
•Keep your weight back
•Stay connected as you turn
•Feel your path through the release
•Release the ball on a slight incline plane
James Wesley has been putting in the work at XVelo, adding 3 MPH to his exit velocity and hitting .500+ this fall! 🔥 A hard worker, great athlete, and even better hitter. Love seeing the work turn into success! 💪⚾️ #XVelo
What people see on social media is the result the home run. What they don’t see is the work behind it. Loudon Trask puts in the work every day, training his body and preparing for these moments.

Had a pitcher come in tonight talking about the benefits of pull-downs before getting on the mound. The key is knowing your routine—how many max-effort throws can you make and still get to the mound feeling fresh?
