Fans sign in with their BarçaID. UTXOS creates the wallet. Sponsorship covers the fees, so they never need ADA to start.

.@FCBarcelona has just launched Barça Fan Lab, developed with @Andamio_teams using Cardano.
Fans will be able to learn about Barça’s history and values, take part in community activities, and gain verifiable digital credentials that will be stored in their own Cardano-based portfolio.
Supported through @Catalyst_OnX Fund 13, the initiative will also explore new approaches to digital communities, loyalty, collectibles and fan participation.

New this week: a signal is delivered by pull request — the receiving murmuration merges to accept, after its own CI confirms the sender is recognized and the signature verifies. Delivery as consent. 🛫

Until now, "two murmurations" meant two folders on one machine. No longer: a murmuration can now discover and recognize a peer over the network — resolved from its did:web identity, signature verified, no shared filesystem. Peers at a distance.
Also this week: agreements now link back to the originTensionId that sparked them (machine-followable provenance), plus a pluggable transport seam — then a security / architecture / QA review pass to harden the remote fetch (SSRF, redirects).

THE POWER OF THE COMMUNITY
5am.earth proposal went through thank to the Cardano community.
Members we met along the way, and many we never met, showed up for this proposal. It brought incredible energy and reminded us all of the reason we joined Cardano in the first place.
The community reviewed the proposal, asked hard questions, pushed back on the numbers, and demanded clarity. We appreciate every piece of feedback and every concern raised, it makes us better.
There are many people to thank. Every action counted. Every message reposted, every like, every rationale written, every space that gave us a platform, every hard question asked, every criticism offered. All of it mattered. We are grateful to each and every one of you.
This was more than great teamwork. This was community work.
And with that comes responsibility, ours. The responsibility to keep delivering. To bring real value back to the chain and to the people who backed us. To prove on the main stage that Cardano can lead in real-world adoption and help disrupt the industries that need disrupting.
We have already come a long way. But this is just the beginning.
Let's make things happen.

I want to call everyone connected to the 5am proposal. This is one of the few initiatives that actually scales Cardano into a real Go-To-Market vertical, it has done the ecosystem mapping for plug-ins, market research dn ties into business alliances.
If yall remember my POSM diagram on OS sustainability, this project is one that tackles the missing section on the right, with adoption.
It brings multiple applications together around a clear use case and builds a proper lead generation mechanism over time.
This isn’t a waste of time, it fills one of the key missing pieces we need right now. I really hope people see it for what it is and don’t dismiss it as a grift.

The reason you created Cardano has been my north star for almost six years. Following your vision to bank the unbanked, I joined the ecosystem like many others driven by that same purpose.
5am.earth is how we deliver on that vision now, at scale. We're tapping into partner networks that aims to reach 100 million farmers, the perfect foundation for a blockchain trust layer that connects to many business applications (i.e. good synergies with Realfi).

From a business perspective, there are real opportunities for Cardano to tap into a huge business network of leading brands. As you said in one of your recent videos, "we lost the narrative." 5am could be part of bringing it back.

For the last few years, we've been in the playing with new tech. The tech is magnificent, but are you truly proud of what we've actually accomplished? Have we actually changed the world yet?
I don't think we have. That's natural! Throughout history, a lot of tech has been used for parlor tricks before going mainstream.
Cardano tech is ready for the mainstream, and first steps are always the hardest. This is our chance to take a big step that will lead to more success.

DRep Abstain objections deserve a harder look than they have been getting on the 5am.earth proposal. "Should the treasury fund infrastructure," "is now the right time," "let's stay cautious", "I'd rather see a smaller experiment", "I generally don't vote on commercial projects" each sounds like prudence on its own.
Why would our community not fund the common layer on which its own vision depends, "conserving its resources" to do the very thing it says it is here to do at just the moment when the market has shown up and said they need us, now?
Aimed together at this institutionally backed and derisked project needing Cardano's shared infrastructure, already live as a PoC, now needing to harden and demonstrate it has scale capacity, they add up to the community declining to do the one thing only the community can do. Think again on your Abstentions gentlemen.

#Cardano is a long way from being sustainable.
No single project will bring the tx volume we need to change that - and that's the whole point!
The volume we need will only be the result of many diverse systems calling Cardano home.
Every one of us needs to BE AMBITIOUS ENOUGH to understand that Cardano is the settlement layer for a global financial system.
5am.earth will bring an order of magnitude more txs to Cardano - and it will be the first among many driving the wave of real adoption that, so far, we've only talked about.
