When I say “show me something scary” but instead of a horror movie, they show me Weiss devastated but ready to let go of the Ruby she knows for the person Ruby may end up becoming.

Matt, you can disagree with El-Sayed’s politics without excusing the blatant racism and bigotry being directed at him.

His campaign made clear the ad doesn’t speak for him and he has repeatedly denounced antisemitism. But since you’re so concerned about hate, I’d love to know where you stand on the vile racism and bigotry coming from Mike Rogers’ campaign. Or does that hate not count?

Perfectly stated. trump goes for the cheap, lowbrow laughs that require just a single digit IQ to find funny. His dumb humor punches down at people. But when he hits at folks like Obama and El-Sayed, he is unarmed in a battle of brains.

This is where El-Sayed and Obama own Trump each and every time. They're smart guys who not only know how to respond to Trump's feeble attacks but they deliver it with timing and humor. Trump thinks he's funny. El-Sayed and Obama are funny.

The hate in the Michigan campaign is directed towards Abdul El-Sayed and yet he's the one who keeps getting asked to denounce hate.
