Hegseth has been a bright spot in this administration and firing the guy for enthusiastically and precisely doing exactly what you asked him to do would be a low move.
You asked the guy to strike Iran without committing any ground forces and with no meaningful plan in place for some type of regime change. The military did a very good job of destroying Iranian ground targets and killing Iranian leadership with precision and broad overall success.
Relative to GWOT, our losses here have been minimal and our military worked around the clock in hostile and contested environments without any major fault or scandal.
Hegseth continues to be the right guy to lead the DoD (DoW), without question.
You asked him and the military to strike Iran, and that's exactly what you got. The fact that this was an unpopular decision is not Hegseth's fault. The military did their part; that's Hegseth's side of it.
Own up to the bad decision, don't blame your people for it, especially the ones who have been steadfast and loyal and high-performing.

Bo French is the future of our party.
If our only choice is between slow replacement and quick replacement, there is no longer a point to electoral politics.
This is true - the RRC race is a bellwether.
Republican friends - a vote for @bofrench is a vote for a dark future for the GOP, a future in which conservative Indians, Latinos, and reasonable independents abandon our party and consign us to permanent minority status.
We can survive a 2-1 majority on the RRC.
We cannot survive Bo French.

If you’re deeply upset that Samuel Sey will be deported for violating our immigration laws, you essentially support amnesty.
Demanding exceptions for illegals simply because they’re “good Christians” is the exact same argument RINOs used for years to promote amnesty. If this becomes a reason to block deportations, every illegal will suddenly become a devout churchgoer and liberals will insist MS-13 are actually youth pastors.
If you break the law, you go home. There should be no exceptions.
