This is absurd. Tatum is second in the league in points created per game (49.3) while ranking 41st in time of possession (4.8 mins) and averaging just 1.8 TOV to 8.0 AST Luka ranks 1st in points created (57.5) and 3rd in time of possession (10.2) and has an 8.3:5.8 AST:TO ratio

So I did some researching. take this information however you see fit: Jayson Tatum has been in 17 series since 2020 playoffs 3 times ave over 45% from the floor 4 times ave over 35% from 3 Never ave over 50% from the floor 2 times ave over 40% from 3 4 times ave over 45% from the floor AND 35% from 3. Career playoff 43.9% from the floor 34% from 3. 24-8-5 I don’t expect players to be overly efficient, I just think Tatum still has room to grow in how he plays in the playoffs. He does a lot more settling than we think and it’s easy to put a guy as big or athletic on him. He not quick enough to just drive past someone unless he can body someone smaller to get to the rim. A word on three point shooting regression: Last year there were 164 players who returned to CBB who shot at least 40% from three the year prior (min 40 attempts). Only 13% of them shot above 40% again the next year, and just 7% matched or improved their percentage from prior.
