One of the hardest things I’ve faced recently?
Doing something that’s in my domain… but in a way I’ve never done before.
You assume it should be easy.
It’s not.
You see that particular recitation of “kini nje mo”. Any Yoruba child that knows it is a true son and daughter of the soil.

You know the insane thing. Not one older woman has actually responded to the question she asked.
"You'll see their arteries, their veins. Their shoulders go puff" 😭 - e enter them gan. 😂
You're threatening her with age. Is this what you want her to become?

Captain Ibrahim Traoré stood before Burkina Faso's engineering students and said what no African president had said out loud.
"We will no longer support long essays. If you are an engineering student, for your thesis, you must manufacture, copy, or build something."
Then he gave them the line that deserves to be carved into the gate of every university on this continent:
"Copy everything you can copy except theory."
Read that again.
A continent that imports its machines, its medicines, and its refineries is finally telling its brightest minds: we do not need another paper about engineering. We need you to do engineering.
Traoré is not attacking education. He is attacking the distance between the classroom and the nation. For sixty years, African universities have produced graduates who can describe a bridge but cannot build one. Who can write two hundred pages on industrialisation while the country imports every bolt and bearing it needs. Who leave campus with a certificate in one hand and nothing in the other.
He is not asking students to invent from nothing. He is telling them to reverse-engineer. To take what already exists, understand it, reproduce it, and improve it. That is how Japan built its car industry. That is how China built its factories. They copied. They built. They improved. Then they surpassed the people they learned from.
His government is putting infrastructure behind the words—technical high schools tied to local economies, a technological academy, and a state that now owns the machines and asphalt plants to build its own highways.
The old model was designed to produce clerks for a colonial administration. It survived independence because it was convenient for the elite. Their children went to Paris. Yours got a diploma and a bus fare home.
"Copy everything you can copy except theory."
Copy the machine. Copy the process. Copy the blueprint. Then build it here, with your hands, for your people.
That is not a downgrade of education. It is the upgrade Africa has needed for sixty years.
Despite the disrespect, the sufferings, the hate of the media, and the detests from your own brothers.
You fought hard enough, to them it might not be enough, but to his it’s is more than enough.
IT IS ETERNAL ❤️✨

Two interesting things I discovered this week are:
1. That you can get genuine court affidavits online from the Nigerian Federal High Court. A genuine one, not the ones those roadside people give you.
The website has all sorts of affidavits, even ones I didn't know existed.
2. The National Population Commission has a working portal. You can register your newborn online and get a certified birth certificate that is accepted worldwide.
You can do all these things without any bureaucracy.

This is a quite insightful one. Simone was still asking me if the new itel power tank can power inverter AC.
I mean this is coming from someone who even market it.
We need to be careful.
THREAD 🧵
Solar is not a scam. But some of the things being promised to Nigerians about solar are becoming a problem.
I’ve been in the solar and inverter business for years, and there’s something I think we need to talk about.
I’ve seen the marketing around the Itel Power Tank. People say they use it to power their freezer, washing machine, TV and even iron their clothes.
But before you buy one, let’s do some mathematics.

100 DAYS. WE MADE IT! 🎉❤️
100 days of showing up, pushing through doubts, staying consistent, and proving to myself that I could see something through.
I'm proud, grateful, and excited for what's next.
To everyone who supported this journey in one way or another, thank you! You were part of it. ❤️
The challenge ends here, but the journey continues.
Here's to growth, consistency, and showing up! 🥂

Just saw a poster by the new AC producer in Nigerian market, Daikin.
The advert says, Japan Cools Africa.
That I feel is a disrespectful truth and it reminds me why I am doing what I am doing.
Africans must produce for Africa usage, and we’re starting from Nigeria.
