I just spent about five days (+_ 30 hours) drafting a replying affidavit in an application for the appointment of an administrator to a land restitution trust. Client owned the farm Lisbon, 1500 hectares on the Sabie River overlooking the KNP and abutting the Sabie Sands.

When is Bafana Bafana coming back? We need to give them a warm welcome at the airport. The boys did us proud.

SOCIAL MEDIA IS LYING TO YOU ABOUT BLACK FRIDAY!!👇🏾👇🏾
A lot of people are shocked by some of the headlines stating “Black Friday shoppers spent a record $9.8 billion in U.S. online sales, up 7.5% from last year”
But this is a perfect example of how the media can be misleading
But don’t worry.. I paid attention in economics class, and study media literacy… so you didn’t have to!
Everyone saw that stores were empty, deals were not dealing, and inflation has been kicking our butt all year
So let’s talk about the real numbers
So the TOTAL increase in ALL sales for Black Friday 2023 is only 2.5%
The article is saying that the portion of the sales that are online, increased by 7.5%… NOT THE TOTAL SALES
(None of these numbers are adjusted to inflation btw)
Inflation is around 3.2%…
So if TOTAL sales increased 2.5%… but inflation is 3.2%… then that means there was actually a LOSS on Black Friday
Because our dollars and purchasing power holds LESS value than they did in 2022
It’s also important to note that the amount of sales made through a buy now, pay later program has increased by 47%
They may want us to believe our economy is in better shape than what it is… but companies and individuals are feeling the shift right now

So today, I want to say to any woman or girl with aspirations of public leadership: you too can take up the mantle and succeed, so that while 17 years ago there was one, now there can be hundreds of African women leading us into the future.

Looking back at the moment when I was elected #Liberia’s president, I can’t help but think of the women leaders across #African communities who inspired my leadership story.
On this day, 17 years ago, @MaEllenSirleaf became #Africa’s first democratically elected woman president, and a new era for women’s #leadership was ushered in. Today, countless African #WomenLeaders are walking in her footsteps and creating positive change in all spheres of life.

Have you ever been in a court room?
How do you feel about the titles used to address magistrates and judges like, My Lord and Your Worship?
Would you be comfortable addressing any human being like that?

I tend to ignore these, but this. People use these fake titles to scam and bamboozle. They use the "Appeal to authority fallacy" to make people believe they are experts.
Also note, I am continuously learning researcher in AI/ML/NLP. I can't talk much about chemistry! #NufSaid
