📚 Some of the most important lessons young people learn at school go far beyond the classroom. Parents recognise the vital role schools play in helping children and young people develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to navigate the world around them. We support teachers and school staff with free CPD training and curriculum-mapped teaching resources, helping them deliver age-appropriate education on gambling harms across every key stage. With updated statutory RSHE guidance now including online gambling and gambling-like features in gaming, we're here to help schools put the new guidance into practice. 👉 Book a free workshop and explore our comprehensive bank of teaching resources: ow.ly/thAz50ZWFU0 #Education #Safeguarding #Prevention #TeacherTraining #GamblingHarms

🤝 Ygam convened the first meeting of the new Prevention Delivery Network, bringing together organisations delivering gambling harm prevention under the statutory levy. All 33 organisations commissioned by #OHID have been invited to participate, with the network focused on strengthening collaboration, sharing learning and maximising the collective impact of the prevention strand of the levy. Our Chief Executive, Emily Tofield, who chaired the first meeting, said: 💬 “The creation of the Prevention Delivery Network marks an important step towards building a more connected and collaborative approach to gambling harm prevention under the new statutory levy. “It was encouraging to see such strong engagement at the inaugural meeting. The network brings together organisations with significant experience and expertise in preventing gambling harms, alongside new entrants bringing fresh ideas and approaches.” 🔗 Read our press note: ow.ly/ckZ950ZQTSS #GamblingHarms #Prevention #PublicHealth #Collaboration

📣 Today, we are proud to publish our latest Impact Report. The pages of this report demonstrate much more than statistics. They tell the story of children and young people supported, professionals empowered, partnerships strengthened and a growing community united by a commitment to prevention. Over the past year, our programmes reached an estimated 1.2 million children and young people, taking our total reach to more than 7 million since 2020. The report demonstrates how education and early intervention are strengthening safeguarding, how professionals are putting their learning into practice, and how our growing work in research, evidence and insight is contributing to a deeper understanding of gaming and gambling harms. None of this would be possible without the dedication and commitment of our staff, trustees, partners, funders and supporters. Thank you! 👉 Read our latest Impact Report: ow.ly/Cvlg50ZL7j6 #ImpactReport #GamblingHarms #Prevention #Safeguarding #PublicHealth
