@sahar_shahaf and I looked at Europa, as observed by @JNASAWebb from several viewing angles. We then used spectral decomposition to identify surface processes and found several CO2-enriched terrains! First paper accepted to ApJ, and is now live on @arxiv: arxiv.org/html/2603.10520v1

Jupiter's moon Europa has a subsurface water ocean, where biological activity may occur. Clues thereof may be detected in complex organic molecules erupting to the icy surface. We show that their detection is feasible, even from an orbiting craft: arxiv.org/abs/2503.06971
