Today is Yom Ha’zikaron Israel’s remembrance day for its fallen soldiers and victims of terror. On 19th September 2002 at only 19, Yoni Jesner’s life was taken from him by a suicide bomber who boarded the bus he was on in Tel Aviv.
We know that behind every person lost to war and terrorism is a devastated family and friends. They are all in our thoughts tonight. May their memories be for a blessing and may you be comforted among the mourners of Zion.
