If this was in the NFT heyday, this would have been an explosion. WVRPS was AI music in NFT form before AI was mainstream. The startup company behind it failed, as many startups do, but WVRPS was transferred and rekindled by @SasanSeyedi. Very impressive where it is now. šŸ‘
**WVRPS // SYSTEMS ONLINE** For weeks, we’ve been teasing pieces of what we’ve been building. Today, you get the whole picture. One film. Three minutes. Not a roadmap. Not a concept. What is built. And in 48 hours, it becomes yours. No more teasers. No more ā€œsoon.ā€ WVRPS.com goes live in 48 hours. There won't be a mint related to the launch and the team will never DM you. Stay SAFU ā–¶ļø Watch the film. Next stop: launch. šŸš€

Thom tillis is retiring this January, if he thinks by making the TV show rounds and talking sh-t about these incompetent individuals, that HE confirmed knowing they were unqualified.....he does not get a free pass. Thom tillis *is* part of this country's problems.

This stuff infuriates me. It’s blatantly misleading. The realtor knows full well that the 3.75% isn’t a 30-year fixed or any other conventional loan. But, he leaves out the details for engagement, leaving those less educated about these things to think they’re somehow worse off.
Just Sold!! My clients got a deal in North Texas with a 3.75% interest rate!!

This is bizarre. The reporter said hello first, introduced himself, then got a ā€œHey, Michaelā€ back from Franklin. Since when do hellos need a 3-way handshake? Did Franklin study TCP network fundamentals or something? 🤣

Every year on 9/11 I take the kids to ground zero to write down names engraved in the memorial. Then we go home and look them up to talk about their stories. Today, my youngest was writing a name when a woman walked up and asked her what she was doing. When she explained, the woman gently asked ā€œwill you write down my son’s name too?ā€ We spent the next few minutes talking to Morton Frank’s mother about his life. He was 31. When I asked her how she was holding up on the 25th anniversary she teared up and said, ā€œsame as every other day.ā€ #neverforget

I reread this every year. I cry like a baby every year. Todd Beamer died a father, husband, and hero. Todd: Hello… Operator… listen to me. I can’t speak very loud. This is an emergency. I’m a passenger on a United flight to San Francisco. Our plane has been hijacked. Lisa: I understand. Can they see you? Todd: No. There are three that we know of. They have knives — razor knives, like box cutters. Someone announced from the cockpit there was a bomb. It sounded fake. Lisa: Your name?Todd: Todd Beamer. United Flight 93.Todd: They killed one passenger in first class. They forced most of us back. Fourteen of us here. Five flight attendants. The guy with the bomb ordered us to sit on the floor. Lisa: Are you okay? Todd: We’re going down… wait. No. We’re leveling off. We changed directions. We’re flying east again. Todd: A guy named Jeremy called his wife. She told him two planes hit the World Trade Center. Lisa, is that true? Lisa: I have to tell you the truth. It’s very bad. Both towers are gone. A third plane hit the Pentagon. Our country is under attack. I’m afraid your plane may be part of their plan. Todd: Oh God. Lisa, will you do something for me? Call my wife and my kids. Promise me you’ll call. Lisa: I promise. Todd: Our home number is… You have the same name as my wife. Lisa. We’ve been married ten years. She’s pregnant with our third child. Tell her I love her. I’ll always love her. We have two boys — David, he’s 3, and Andrew, he’s 1. Tell them their daddy loves them and he is so proud of them. The baby is due January 12th. I saw an ultrasound. We still don’t know if it’s a girl or a boy. Lisa: I’ll tell them. I promise, Todd.(Lisa patches in the FBI.) Agent: Todd, your plane is on a course for Washington. Best guess is the White House or the Capitol. Todd: I understand. I’ll be back. Todd: Everyone knows this isn’t a normal hijacking. We have decided we will not be pawns in their plot. Lisa: What are you going to do? Todd: Four of us are going to rush the one with the bomb. Then the cockpit. A stewardess is getting boiling water. We’ll take them out. Todd: Would you pray with me?They pray the Lord’s Prayer. Then: Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. Todd: God help me. Jesus help me.Are you guys ready? Let’s Roll.

Twenty-five years ago, I was 25-year-old broadcast assistant at CBS News living in Astoria, New York. Each day I would take the N/R train from the Ditmars Blvd station to 59th and 6th in midtown Manhattan. On Tuesday September 11, 2001, I boarded the subway, like I did every morning, right about 8:15am. I found an empty seat on the right side of the train, which faced the North side of the City and as we started our decent underground. I was unaware of what was taking place approximately 6 miles South of where I was sitting. It’s been 25 years, but it feels like yesterday. It feels like yesterday because I remember everything about that day. -I remember walking up the subway stairs on 57th and 7th. -I remember the color of the sky. -I remember thinking ā€œWhat a beautiful dayā€. -I remember turning onto 57th street- heading towards work. -I remember someone running through the street screaming ā€œa plane hit the World Trade Centerā€. -I remember the sounds of the firetrucks speeding down 7th Avenue. -I remember thinking ā€œit’s going to be a very long dayā€. -I remember sitting at my desk watching smoke coming from the Towers. -I remember watching them fall. -I remember feeling numb. -I remember hearing about the other planes that we’re crashing. -I remember thinking ā€œwhat’s next?" -I remember my boss, who was stuck on the runway at Newark, saying we could all go home early. -I remember leaving work to join a group of friends who were walking back to Queens. -I remember calling my dad to tell him I was going home, and he said, ā€œturn around and go back to work. You work for the news, ĀĀ and they need you thereā€. -I remember I went back. -I remember feeling scared, confused, and lost. -I remember the stale taste of smoke and ashes in the air. -I remember seeing the lights from the firetrucks and ambulances. -I remember the silence. No sirens. Just the lights. -I remember walking over the Queensboro bridge and looking back at the smoke. -I remember the empty space where the Towers used to stand. -I remember thinking how strange it was to know what every person on the street was thinking. -I remember crying. I cried a lot. -I remember wondering who could do this? Who was cruel enough to do this? -I remember the missing signs. Missing signs everywhere. -I remember the people standing outside CBS begging us to put them on TV. Begging to put their son, daughter, husband, wife, friend’s face on TV because maybe someone knew where they were. -I remember seeing the first responders on the subway. The dust, the dirt, the pain, and emptiness in their eyes. -I remember thinking ā€œthey have seen things no human should have to seeā€. -I remember the way New York City came together. The way the world came together. -I remember the resilience. -I remember the kindness, the compassion in every single New Yorker. It may be 25 years later, but I remember, and I know I always will. I will never forget.

So, whatever happened with this? I’ve yet to see one in the wild. ā€œShipping this weekā€ was about as genuine as the video. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
The T1 Phone has arrived!! Those who pre-ordered the T1 Phone will be receiving an update email. Phones start shipping this week!!!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Video is AI, US flag has 11 then 9 stripes + back texture is inconsistent. Based on the specs the T1 is a rehoused T-Mobile REVVL 7 Pro 5G (a 2024 model, which retails on Amazon $126). Wingtech/Luxshare makes it in Jiaxing, Wuxi, or Kunming China. It’s not American made: pnj.com/story/news/202… huffpost.com/entry/trump-mo… gizchina.com/phones/the-tru…

The very last point in the video is perhaps the best. What happens when it snows and/or ices? Frost on the glass. It’ll be like watching the game from inside your shower.

Never saw this before, but this is class.
15 years ago today, one of my favorite Panthers of all time - kicker John Kasay - wrote a letter to the team's fans. Kasay then dropped the letter off to me at work - I had covered his entire career with Carolina, which began in 1995 - and asked me to publish it in full in @theobserver. Which we did. I saved the letter and came across it a few days ago. The way Kasay handled a difficult situation - it should be taught in college classes. For background, the team's all-time leading scorer had just gotten fired, as the Panthers decided to go with Olindo Mare as their kicker in 2011 instead. Yet Kasay took the high road throughout his 257-word letter. If you've forgotten what grace and class look like in today's difficult times, treat yourself to another glance at Kasay's letter. And remind yourself - and those around you - about the simple power of a handwritten thank-you note.

This video is making the rounds. Watch the video and come to your own conclusions but for me….. - The kid is out of control and probably an entitled asshole who gets away with talking like that because his parents make excuses for him and don’t hold him accountable. - Speaking of parents making excuses listen to what the parents are saying in the stands, especially the lady. I get being upset with umpires, good Lord I’ve been upset with umpires for years, but parents you have to be parents. Everyone is justifying that child’s actions instead of somebody saying hey man shut the hell up. We don’t act like that, and then making the kid apologize or take his jersey. Instead, there’s tons of excuses, zero and I mean zero parenting.
