Jacoby Brissett splits last 2 seasons (per game)
When he’s down 9 or more
99.9 ypg 0.55 TDs 0.27 INT
Any other situation
131.3 ypg 0.95 TDs 0.41 INT
43% of this dudes production comes in games he already lost.
From Adam Scheffter:
"The Cardinals were 3-5 this season with Brissett as the starter and 1-11 last season. Over the past 20 games, Brissett was ranked No. 1 in dropbacks, completions and attempts, third in passing first downs, fourth in completion percentage over expected, fifth in passing yards, and seventh in passing yards and broken sacks. He was sacked 62 times over that stretch, which is tied for the most in the NFL.
He was contacted a league-high 241 times as well. Brissett led an offense that ranked fourth in time of possession, 10th in yards and turnovers, 16th in total points and yards per game, and 21st in points per game."

Calling this playing "poor" football is a crock. Yes he struggled in 3 of the 8 games this season (yet also helped the team post upset wins over Chargers and Rams in Weeks 1 and 6). But when one fairly looks at Jacoby's entire body of work over 20 games, just as Adam Scheffter has, especially given the murky OL situations and having a defense that gave up 31.4 ppg (worst in NFL). Jacoby lifted up the players around him. Just ask Trey McBride, Hjalte Froholdt and Michael Wilson. Ask the Hall of Fame in Canton. And no one can ever take that away. It was an utter work of art.

Kind of hilarious if you’re into the #BidwillOut movement AND you wanted Kyler out last year. How tf did you expect this year to go lmao
Some BS you watch just to see Jake Paul somehow win via close decision
🚨 BREAKING NEWS: JAKE PAUL vs FRANCIS NGANNOU
CHRISTMAS EVE 🎅
DUBAI @MostVpromotions @jakepaul @francis_ngannou LET'S GO!!
My gut is telling me #TusksUp will be the landing spot for Kucherov, they have the $ and assets to pull off a trade.
Bill Armstrong is the kind of guy to make a splash and their team is loaded.
They have $25M in projected cap space next year, per @PuckPedia.
Mikhail Sergachev is signed through 2031.
Kucherov played for Andre Tourigny in the QMJHL in 2012-13
I don’t think mine is getting sent in group chats if I’m being honest

Analytics are subjective and this imperfect. It's the same as "old school" scouting. One person's expected goals is not the same as someone else's. The science is in the flesh and blood details. The science is an also art. It's imperfect but it can help you get close to math. I love math--it's spiritual. But, we will never reach math--because math is perfect. Plus/minus IS perfect but it's not art. Same as shots on goal. Noah Kahan's song "Downfall" is perfect art---according to my analytics.
