On Thursday, I stood with @GlasgowUnite workers on the picket lines at @vuecinemas and @Village_Hotels, fighting for a real living wage and union recognition.
I then joined the demonstration supporting Palestine hunger strikers at Nelson Mandela Place. Keir Starmer’s Labour government is going to let these young people die. As a movement, we won’t allow that to happen.
Keep an eye out for more to come on how to register and more. For the time being, we are already looking for volunteers. So if you are interested in joining the Scotland conference volunteers team, let us know: forms.gle/GJic4EjNcVQm336R8
All Scottish members will be able to take part. We will be holding workshops & discussions on the Scottish party’s founding documents, policy, its community organising plans, as well as debates & votes on our stances towards key national issues & the May 2026 Holyrood elections.
This is delayed from our initial planned dates of 10-11th January. This has come about after taking feedback from members, where we’ve seen your concerns at meeting the costs to come to the conference so close after the festive season.
We are pleased to announce that Your Party Scotland’s first conference will take place at Bonar Hall in Dundee, on the weekend of 7th and 8th February 2026.

I am standing with the @Village_Hotels and @StarbucksUK workers who are challenging the company’s discriminatory low pay structure and fighting for recognition after CEO Gary Davis stated that “money is not a problem” under Blackstone.
I will join these workers on the picket next week on Thursday 18th December ✊🏽

The government is letting the hunger strikers die.
This is a national scandal - and should be on the front-page of every newspaper in Britain.

The government is providing them with free food, three times a day, therefore the claim that "the government is letting them die" is false. It is not allowed to force feed individuals, unless in cases of Eating Disorders, which is not the case in the referenced situation. news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/493713…

The first cinema strike to hit Britain for almost a decade; 80% of workers at @vuecinemas in Glasgow walked out yesterday and crippled their flagship venue.
What do they want? A wage they can live on and transport home from a company that made £25m in profit last year alone!
