BIG | 🇵🇱🇷🇺🇪🇺🇬🇧🇨🇦🇺🇸‼️‼️ “RELATIONS BETWEEN RUSSIA AND THE WEST WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN!” Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has warned that Moscow’s confrontation with the West reflects problems extending far beyond Vladimir Putin’s presidency.
Sikorski argued that Western governments have finally recognized that Poland’s longstanding warnings about Putin were justified. He said a return to relations as they existed before the war is no longer possible, describing Russia’s problem as deeply rooted in its political culture. According to Sikorski, historical traditions associated with Mongol rule, the Russian Empire, and Bolshevism have repeatedly shaped the country’s political development. He also pointed to unsuccessful attempts to establish a fundamentally different political system.
Sikorski’s remarks reflect Poland’s longstanding skepticism toward Moscow and the belief that European security cannot depend on the assumption that a change of leadership in Russia will automatically produce lasting peace. His argument places greater emphasis on sustained deterrence, military preparedness, and support for Ukraine as central elements of Western security policy.

Alors même que des élèves se trouvaient à l’intérieur, le lycée Édouard-Herriot, dans le 6e arrondissement de Lyon, a été incendié, provoquant l’évacuation en urgence de l’établissement, sous les ricanements et les cris de joie de ceux qui y ont mis le feu en sachant que des élèves et des professeurs s’y trouvaient.
J’apporte tout mon soutien aux élèves, aux professeurs et au personnel de l’établissement.
Ces crimes sont passibles de la cour d’assises. Leurs auteurs doivent être retrouvés et répondre de leurs actes devant la justice.

BIG | 🇺🇦🇷🇺‼️‼️ UKRAINE’S NEPTUNE CRUISE MISSILE REPORTEDLY STRIKES RUSSIAN MILITARY ELECTRONICS FACTORY! New information indicates that last night’s attack on the Proton military electronics plant in Oryol was carried out using a domestically produced Neptune land-attack cruise missile, rather than the FP-5 Flamingo.
The Ukrainian-made missile has reportedly achieved significant results in less than a month of operations against Russian military infrastructure. According to the reported figures, Neptune strikes against military airfields in Russia’s Volgograd and Voronezh regions during October destroyed six Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers and damaged two others. The reported aircraft losses and the missile used in the Oryol strike have not been independently verified.
The growing use of Ukraine’s domestically developed cruise missiles could expand Kyiv’s ability to strike high-value military targets deep inside Russia. Attacks on aircraft, military airfields, and defense electronics facilities have the potential to disrupt Russian combat aviation and weapons production, while reducing Ukraine’s dependence on foreign-supplied long-range strike systems.

The U.S. Marine Corps has awarded Textron Systems and its subsidiary Howe & Howe a contract to acquire two RIPSAW M3 tracked unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) for the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory in Quantico, Virginia.
The vehicles will serve as experimental test platforms, allowing Marines to integrate different sensors and mission payloads, demonstrate potential applications and develop requirements for future robotic systems.
The RIPSAW M3 features a modular open systems architecture, a payload capacity exceeding 2,268 kg (5,000 lb) and a maximum speed of over 48 km/h (30 mph).
The acquisition is intended to support experimentation and the development of future unmanned ground capabilities, rather than introduce the vehicles into operational service.

BREAKING:
The European Commission announced today which countries are under “migratory pressure” and will be able to send away some of their asylum seekers to other EU states under the “migrant relocation quotas” created by the EU’s new Migration Pact. The countries are:
🇪🇸 Spain
🇮🇹 Italy
🇬🇷 Greece
🇨🇾 Cyprus
These 4 countries will be able to put asylum seekers into a “Solidarity Pool” for 2027 from which migrants will then be relocated in other EU states.
The size of the Solidarity Pool was decided today but the information about it is being kept secret for now.
6 countries were classified as facing a “significant migratory situation” and will be allowed to request from exemptions of receiving quota migrants. Those 6 countries are:

🇨🇿 Czechia
🇭🇷 Croatia
🇦🇹 Austria
🇧🇬 Bulgaria
🇪🇪 Estonia
To receive an exemption, the country’s request has to pass a QMV vote (Qualified Majority Voting) in the Council of the European Union.
Countries which are forced to take part in the Solidarity Pool will either have to take in the number of quota migrants assigned to them by the EU, pay EUR 21 000 for every quota migrant they refuse to receive or send significant resources to help the 4 countries under migratory pressure to handle the situation.
Two countries have refused to take part in the entire new migrant relocation system and its fines. Those two countries are:
