LC8 is almost exactly what the game would play like post UC nerf if ring engines were never added and it's the worst state the game has been in ever.

For context KBB started going through the track the moment it was thrown and if that happens it has already locked onto whoever was in first place no matter what. So it locked onto the Majima frame 1 and could do nothing about it, this is just the clearest example that we have

And this goes back to how UC was like (you didn't have wisp you didn't win) and just like LC2 you just don't win if don't have MT (or speed item if you're lucky enough to not be squished by one) Its not fun to win off of luck, never was
