I watched @vengeful_vadam's latest uncut video and he mentions a cut "scarab ram" sequence and thought I give it a shot to make it, currently on first pass for the animation.

I still think about MechAssault on the original Xbox all the time. It is a masterpiece.

When i'm bored i open a black canvas and draw what i'm 99% sure a halo ring would look like if you approached it in real life and then i understand why everyone in halo is always Tweaking

While I said I was going to get back to working on the animation on the weekend I couldn't exactly peel myself away from the scarab, so here's my redo of the scarabs firing animation.
I've interpreted the 'leap' as a jump from the original outline. My only other thought is that it's meant to jump down from the cliff and land on the other scarab, but that would make them both pretty close together.
Any feedback or wanted changes are welcome!
Sequence is fully blocked out now.
Added a lot of tertiary anim in majority of the anims.
I'll keep working on it next weekend.
The trailer for our final wave 3 mech.
