🇺🇸📚 Constitution Day full-circle moment at @HillHawksES. We welcomed former student and my fellow Aldine Mustang Tiffany Vo, now with the Houston Bar Association, to read Grace Goes to Washington to our 3rd graders. @HillElemLMC @aldinelibraries @AldineISD @thehba

The 1st grade scholars have been leaving me exhausted😩 Today I played Michael Jackson and they sang the songs, checked out books, worked on a @Quaver_Ed mandala, and danced like no one was watching 💜 #AldineLibraries @HillElemLMC @HillHawksES @aldinelibraries

We take advantage of all selfie opportunities 😂💜

Man! That was fast. Darryl and I will be praying for an amazing school year for both of you and the girls. Cousin, we love y’all, and hopefully will be able to make it to a game. Blessings 💜

Great minds! #EarthDay2024 @Hill_AISD

Today we celebrated Khorie as she announced her full ride scholarship to @USC. Her reaction when I gave her a personalized copy of @tomi_adeyemi forthcoming book Children of Anguish and Anarchy was EVERYTHING! Thanks @BCRT_TLA and @TXLA for making this happen💜

THIS! Thank you @theresathabird for making the hairs on the back of my neck stand at attention. Wish I wasn’t forced to trim the video 🙄 @BCRT_TLA @HillElemLMC #TXLA24 – at San Antonio, TX

Headed to the line to see @nikkigrimes9! #TXLA24

Went back to the hotel for my cell phone. Got off the shuttle at the convention center and realized I didn’t have a sweater or lip moisturizer 😏 I’m still excited about the @BCRT_TLA author session with @tomi_adeyemi 😁 @TXLA @aldinelibraries @Hill_AISD – at San Antonio, TX
