Thoughts on the Ravens defense: First, it’s not a scheme issue. Feels like players aren’t bought in, trusting it, and tackling well. I wish it wasn’t so soft coverage at times, but that’s not why it’s been bad. Looks nothing like the preseason. Missed tackles are biggest issue.

All to end the season Team can either build up to this moment and steal the division here, or they can lie down and die the rest of the season like a bunch of cowards. Lot of comments about this team is filled with loser mentalities. Right now it’s all true. Chance to change it

He understands how the players are way too soft mentally. The moment one thing doesn’t go their way, they lose all the energy in the world and just coast through the rest of the game. I expect Minter to make sure this roster looks very different next year.

If Vega Ioane is ok, Lamar comes back, this offense could be elite enough to be a good playoff team. Not sure what to think about the defense. Genuine issues but also capable of blanking the bengals offense for a half. Have to hope Minter gets these softies to average.

I’m a believer in Belichick’s “you aren’t who you are until Thanksgiving” idea of football. Building a team takes time and constant adjustments. Ravens haven’t been able to do that to any degree because of injuries. Defense CAN get better. The OL CAN gel if healthy. Will they?

I don’t mind giving players props. Ray Lewis and Ed Reed spoke respectfully of players in the past. But the phrasing here of “I don’t want the challenge” as a joke or not, is a mentality issue. You can show respect without it being soft. Shift in the locker room is needed.

Humphrey does what he should imo. That’s not a planned double move. Marlon breaks on the spot the ball shouldn’t be arriving at. Trent misses the sack, Higgins makes a scramble play, Marlo is left in an awful spot.

Coaching is iffy. But the players just empty into their baby diapers all the time. No tackling, bodied by receivers, looked like they’d rather have bottled and nap than play football.

I don’t even know what to say. Shut out the bengals one half, give up 35 unanswered in another. What’s real, what isn’t? Does Lamar fix this enough when they can’t get a single yard when needed? Nuke this team into the sun.
