Here’s a story about how Garrett Wilson, with a small act of kindness, brought some light to a 17-year-old fan who had just recently experienced the loss of her best friend.
On their interaction after the Bears game, and what it meant to a grieving family:

The Jets had:
- A RB rush for 100 yards.
- A WR go for 100 receiving yards.
- A QB throw three TDs.
- An offense gain 377 yards.
- Four Red Zone drives on offense, and another that got to the 23
- A defense that held their opponent to seven points in the second half
And they still lost to the 0-5 Dolphins.
After embarrassing loss to Dolphins, it’s become hard to believe Aaron Glenn will fix the Jets.

There is no rock bottom as a fan. Only trap doors, sub basements, deep cavern systems, and vast unexplored subterranean misery. There is always more.
My takeaway from the Jets locker room today is that this feels like a group that's at a loss for words at this point. Not a lot of guys who had a whole lot to say.
Garrett Wilson asked if this loss was embarrassing:
"I mean, I don’t know if I’m the judge, the law, of what’s embarrassing or not. We’ll see them again and that’ll feel good. We gotta go get it done when we see them again."
Garrett Wilson on his conversations with Geno Smith:
“I want it in my hands to try to make an impact. That’s all we were talking about, how we can make that happen.”
Garrett Wilson said that moment with him and Geno Smith was just the two of them “collaborating”.
Garrett Wilson on the lack of targets, said he’s more disappointed in the loss.
On the targets: “It happens.”
Aaron Glenn on if the Jets program is heading in the right direction:
“I would say yes because there’s no quit in these guys … I totally believe we’re on the right track.”
Aaron Glenn said he didn’t call timeouts before halftime because he thought the defense was going to make a stop.
The Jets just lost to the 0-5 Miami Dolphins.
Another new low for this team.
Aaron Glenn .... yikes.
Jets get to the 0-yard line.
Andrew Beck run. Loss of a yard.
Braelon Allen run. Stuffed.
Geno Smith takes a sack.
Just awful.
