Meet ZanoNames, a marketplace to buy, sell and discover Zano aliases.
Fixed-price listings, auctions and escrow-backed trades verified on-chain. π
Your alias is public. Your balance stays private. π
Buy, sell and discover Zano aliases on ZanoNames. Your next name is coming soon. π
2014: Zano co-founder @_cryptozoidberg ships on-chain aliases.
2017: ENS brings .eth names to Ethereum.
2026: millions of .eth names, and every one of them is a public balance and a public transaction history.
Zano aliases work the same way, except there is no balance or transaction history attached to yours. It tells people where to pay you, not what you hold.
@ZanoNames is coming soon, a marketplace for trading Zano aliases. π
Here's an interesting way to think about Zano aliases.
Your wallet address identifies where funds go.
Your alias can help people recognise who they're sending them to.
That difference matters.
Imagine a name that's easy to remember, easy to share, and uniquely yours β rather than a long string of characters.
Now add the ability to trade aliases.
ZanoNames is building a marketplace for Zano Aliases, and we want the community to help shape the conversation.
Zano community, let's hear you!
Would you choose your own name, a business brand, or a short premium alias?
Drop your ideas in the replies, share this with another Zano supporter, and let's see what names the community comes up with!

π What makes a Zano alias valuable?
Not all aliases are created equal. Here's what could make one stand out:
πΉ Length β Shorter names are easier to remember and type.
πΉ Rarity β Unique names and combinations can be harder to find.
πΉ Meaning β Common words, recognisable names and relevant keywords can attract interest.
πΉ Brandability β A name that's easy to spell, pronounce and remember could be ideal for a business or personal brand.
πΉ Demand β Ultimately, an alias is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
πΉ Timing β Securing a desirable name early could matter if demand grows.
π The key? A rare alias isn't automatically valuable. The right combination of scarcity, usefulness and demand makes the difference.
What do you think makes an alias truly premium? π

Some names just stand out. Short, memorable, unique β the kind of names people remember.
What if those names could become tradable digital assets?
That's the vision behind ZanoNames.
π§ Start thinking about the name you'd want to own.
What's on your Wanted list?

The interesting thing about digital ownership is what happens when a name becomes desirable.
A Zano alias could represent your identity, your brand, or a name someone else wishes they'd secured first.
ZanoNames is bringing a new dimension to Zano aliases: a marketplace built to trade them.
What alias would YOU want to own?

Crypto addresses are long and error-prone. One typo and funds are gone.
Zano Aliases replace them with human-readable names. Send and receive with a short name, while everything behind it stays private.
Names, not numbers. Privacy intact. β
15,000+ $ZANO is available on @WizardSwap_io right now. π§ββοΈ
No CEX needed.
Swap directly into $ZANO with liquidity ready to go.
More liquidity β easier access β more people able to enter the Zano ecosystem.

Spread the word. π
People are already collecting Zano aliases.
Soon they'll be able to trade them too.
Some names will change hands.
Some probably never will.
What will you own?

Why did so many exchanges, bridges, and other services skip Zano?
A regular Zano address has no visible balance. To know whatβs in it, a service has to scan the entire chain and rebuild that balance from every single transaction. After any downtime, it starts over.
Gateway Addresses solve that. An exchange, bridge or other service can read the balance directly, just like on any transparent chain, so integrating Zano takes about as much work as integrating anything else. π

Most blockchain names are built on top of a blockchain.
Zano aliases are built into the core.
Native. On-chain. Private by design.
That distinction matters.
An alias isnβt just a readable name β itβs part of Zanoβs infrastructure.
And soon, theyβll be tradeable.

Crypto does not need more privacy coins. Monero exists. Shielded ZEC and many others already exist. There's a whole graveyard of forks claiming to be "the next Monero." We have enough of those. Time to move forward
What a great watch guys ππ.

The partnership with @Zebec_HQ got a lot of attention at Common S3nse last weekend.
@ZenecaDiMarco led a workshop on getting started with Zano and how to actually use it in the real world, and @ZebecCards was a big part of that.
Zano is already one of the most-used chains on Zebec today, and plenty of attendees left the booth as new Zebec cardholders. π
