Suar AR RAHMAN ko Matlab aur ghodi banayenge post release
#Ramayana Initial Impressions:
A hugely ambitious film mounted on a grand scale, and the effort behind it is clearly visible. The team largely stays true to the Ramayana, but the film leans more on spectacle and action than drama and emotion, leaving parts of the narration feeling flat and even serial like at times. The second half also drags in places because of where Part 1 chooses to end, with limited material stretched out through lengthy action blocks that don’t create much impact
Yash as Ravana is the biggest highlight and is superb, especially in his introduction portions. Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi are solid as Ram and Sita, though the divine aura and emotional weight don’t always fully translate on screen.
The visuals are stunning in parts and the money spent is clearly visible, but some scenes still have a noticeable studio/green screen feel with a few cartoonish asuras. The biggest negative, hands down, is the music. For a story like Ramayana, the score has to carry much of the divinity and emotion, but the Indian-Hollywood blend largely backfires and ends up feeling like neither apart from a few scenes.
The ambition and scale deserve a lot of applause. Definitely watchable and better than a few recent adaptations, but it falls short of the massive expectations and ultimately feels like a mixed bag with so much more potential.
Full review with rating later in my usual style (review embargo)
Cameron, NolanD, Scorsese aaye ki nahi world premier mai Ramayana ke? Yeh nalle stupid reaction walon ko kaha se utha liya jinhko sirf india ke Dehaati audience dekhti hai

Haven’t really explored Timothee’s filmography beyond Dune, but this mf keeps giving me reasons to. The range on this guy, man. I need to catch up
ya toh WIN hai ya LUN
THE WORLD WILL WAKE UP TO 'RAMAYANA' *TONIGHT*... #NamitMalhotra's #Ramayana takes centre stage in #LosAngeles tonight, as #Hollywood's biggest influencers, media, fans, and cinephiles gather to experience the #English version of #Ramayana: Rise of a Legend.
One man's audacious dream is taking #India's greatest epic to the world... Indeed, a proud moment for #Indian cinema!
I hope the film speaks for all the belief they've put into it. #Ramayana 🏹
KING ko hype create karne ki tension nahi honi chaiye. Yeh chodu log ro ro kar aur RDJ ko baap banake khud hi hype bana denge 😭 All KING needs is a killer teaser/trailer and 2 banger songs. Opening toh apne aap lag jayegi!
Anyways, with SRK, the effort is never something i question. the man will give a role everything he has, every single time. whether that translates into something great on screen ultimately depends on the filmmaker behind it.
i’m looking at you, @justSidAnand!
this could easily be srk’s most brutal avatar, but i wish they’d stop messing with his face so much. the excessive de-aging and slimming make him look unlike himself
Lagta hai Ramayana overseas mai 70-80M tak he jaa sakti hai Max, agar aisa hua toh phir break even ke liye all india ATG se bhi kaam nahi chalega
Ahaan ke voice mai dum toh hai bc and I’m SO there for FDFS. Give me slick action romance thriller that actually looks stylish
I genuinely don’t think any other industry comes close to Bollywood when it comes to the talent of its mainstream actors. We’re just missing the writers and directors who can truly make the most of it
