NYCC 2026 EXCLUSIVE REVEAL
Three new blind bag pin collections are coming to New York Comic Con:
The World of TMNT
Sonic the Hedgehog 35th Anniversary
Avatar: Aang The Movie
Available at NYCC for $17 per blind bag. And for the superfans, complete sets will also be available.
If you’re older than 22 and still playing video games, let alone taking off work to play video games…
Then the algorithm is trying to get you to be mad at some stranger and they need to try better than ragebaiting, only a few more weeks til OOT and GTAVI for the rest of us. 🎉
Currently only the complete sets are back online from NYCC. Not the individual bags just yet. But I know a lot of superfans were asking for those mostly, so here you guys go! zenmonkeystudios.com/collect…

"Instead of trying to figure out how Zen Monkey Studios could make acrylic stands, what if acrylic could make the enamel pins we already make into something more?"
That question eventually became this:

I will always throw my local post office under a bus for taking a week to ship packages we drop off. I want them to be proud of that 2.2 review on google.
I started Zen Monkey Studios in 2012 and sold maybe 10 shirts in the first month.
Fourteen years later, we made 2,800 Sonic blind bags for NYCC. I wrote about the math, the risk, and why that somehow felt like a normal decision, and not insanity. joshzenmonkey.substack.com/p…
Can't make it to NYCC? We've reserved just 10% of our Sonic 35th, TMNT, and Avatar blind bag inventory for fans who can't attend!

Yah I knew people would be mad of no 2003 rep. We proposed. Our contact at paramount tried to get us permission, higher ups didn’t care.
But look, if this is successful, then we try again in the future. One day 2003 fans shall feast. I won’t give up. Just not 2026 nycc.
Now's a good time to head to the bottom of our site, subscribe to the newsletter, and get ready to have a shot at NYCC exclusive reservations, even complete sets, especially if you can't make it this year!
There's a factory delay. If it makes it for Anime NYC, great, but if not, then when we reserve some for online? Yeah, more internet folks have a shot then.
Take a look at the Painterly series of enamel pins featuring Blaze the Cat and Silver the Hedgehog, @ZenMonkeyStudio unveiled on social media Friday.
It's set to arrive at this year's #AnimeNYC as an exclusive, following the debut of the Painterly series of Sonic and Shadow enamel pins at #SDCC2026.

I wonder if we prep for @SonicExpo 2027 and make licensed exclusives for there? I mean you gotta be a super fan to go, why not get something official too?
