Thank you for standing with survivors, @BritainyBeshear!
Domestic violence is a heinous crime that has no place in our country. In Kentucky, we've enhanced stalking laws, protected survivors' addresses and supported counseling and shelters for survivors. During Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we vow to continue this progress.

Domestic Violence Awareness Month starts today! This year’s theme from the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence is #WithSurvivors, a call to shift from awareness to ACTION. How will you stand with survivors this #DVActionMonth?

These blankets will provide warmth and comfort to survivors in ZeroV's domestic violence programs across the state. Thank you, First Lady Beshear, for connecting us with Sue! And thank you, Sue, for using your time and talent to support survivors of intimate partner violence!
Sue Thomson sewed hundreds of fleece blankets to donate to her community, including @ZeroVKentucky. Because of Sue's kindness, survivors of domestic violence and their families will have a source of comfort. Her actions are proof that we all have the power to make a difference.
