Leaders like Trump and Pete Hegseth should listen to and learn from those they have the honor of commanding, instead of giving them meandering nonsensical lectures.

Today, a brilliant operation was carried out — on enemy territory, targeting only military objectives, specifically the equipment used to strike Ukraine. Russia suffered significant losses — entirely justified and deserved.
Few days in the Dordogne. Running, walking, eating, drinking sampling the delights of the SNCF. Took us to Bergerac. Worth it. #dordogne – at Trémolat, France
4th step seems to belong to GDP Zeb. Sits and watches the world go by. Now almost 5 months old and doing everything well. Lab and Reteiver cross traits are coming through, he is a dream to raise. @GuideDogsNW @guidedogs – at High Lane, England
Twitter now seems to be full of videos. Unsolicited, annoying rubbish. Becoming like Facebook, fighting to get through the ads and crap to find anything useful. I'm out. – at Stockport, England
Guide Dog pup Zeb 13 weeks has had a good Sunday. Walk first thing, brew at McDs. Little later Costa and a stroll around Asda. Ticking lots of boxes. Super calm and confident. Just fun to spend time with. A special little chap. @GuideDogsNW @guidedogs – at Stockport, England

What if Russia’s power is one of the biggest geopolitical illusions of our time?
We’ve all grown up hearing that Russia is a superpower. Big land. Big army. Big nukes. But take a closer look—and the whole image starts to fall apart. Strip away the fear, the propaganda, and the Cold War muscle memory, and what’s left? A struggling petrostate living off bluff and bluster.

America’s Self-Destruction: The Russian Plan That Required Almost Zero Effort.🇺🇸🇷🇺
Let’s get something straight: Russia never wanted to compete with America. Russia wants America dead—humiliated, erased, irrelevant. This isn’t a Cold War rematch. It’s revenge.
See, Americans still don’t understand how Russians really think. I do. I speak Russian. I’ve dealt with Russians in Europe, NYC and Chicago, I’ve seen their world, their mindset. And let me tell you: they fucking hate America to their core. Not in some abstract political way—in a deeply personal way. They laugh at America. They mock Americans. They see them as fat, stupid, arrogant, self-obsessed morons who don’t realize they’re already dead.
And the thing is, they’re right.
The genius of Russia’s plan is that they never had to fight a war. They never had to outcompete the U.S. They just had to wait for Americans to turn against themselves. They knew exactly what buttons to push—and America fell for it completely.
How Russia Played America Like a Fiddle:
•Trump – A walking Russian asset, installed right in the White House. This isn’t a conspiracy theory; it’s reality. He wrecked U.S. alliances, made America look like a joke on the world stage, and brainwashed millions into thinking Putin is the good guy.
•MAGA & Right-Wing Media – Russia didn’t invent MAGA, but they sure as hell amplified it. They fed the most extreme, paranoid, brain-dead parts of American culture—turning patriotism into self-destruction.
•Social Media & Elon Musk – The Russians didn’t need to hack elections. They just needed to amplify the right voices—people who would break America from the inside. And Musk? He’s doing it for free.
•Economy & Trade Wars – Trump’s policies weakened America’s economy, but now under Musk’s influence, the new strategy is outright sabotage. They are destroying U.S. credibility with allies, slashing aid, gutting America’s role in global trade.
Russia’s Plan Was Simple: Make Americans Hate Each Other More Than They Hate Russia
And guess what? It fucking worked.
Americans are so busy fighting each other over culture wars and political nonsense that they don’t even realize the enemy is laughing at them. While Russia keeps expanding its influence, building alliances with China, Iran, North Korea—Americans are sitting around debating pronouns and gas stoves.
Meanwhile, China is playing it smart. They don’t want America destroyed—they want it controlled. They want Americans desperate enough to keep buying Chinese goods while their own country burns. But Russia? Russia wants the fire to consume everything.
They want America dead. They want Americans mocked wherever they go. They want the world to never forget what America did to them in the Cold War. And they are winning.
Because America is too busy destroying itself to stop them.
If America won’t wake up very soon it will be over before next Midterms.

1/ Trump has been conned by Putin. Russia isn’t a global superpower—its GDP (~$2 trillion) is smaller than Italy’s and about 1/15 the size of the US. 🧵

Someone asked "Why do many British people not like Donald Trump?"
Nate White, an articulate and witty writer from England, wrote this magnificent response:

Having added the dates for the Giro, the TDF and La Vuelta to my calendar I have banished any thoughts of the current cold weather. Roll on the Breakaway, the banter, the knowledge and, of course, world class cycling. @SportsOrla @AdamBlythe89 @mcewenrobbie @eurosport
Its well worth doing. If you have space in your lives you won't regret taking on one of these life changers.
