Colleagues on banding 8a are people like matrons, advanced clinical practitioners , etc. A disgrace if their pay really falls.
**The ‘PAY AWARD’ will be backdated to 1st April 22 and due to this your pay for September could be around £200 LESS **

Pay isn’t the only reason I’m leaving the NHS. But Band 8a has become even more unattractive. Flat rate £1400 equates to just 2.9%, plus 5 year wait for increment ➡️ crisis in R&R of clinical specialists. AfC needs overhaul and fast. Solidarity with any industrial action. #NHSpay
