Interesting.
• The Shannon drive in the 1Q was obvious.
• Randle’s layup that was smacked late was borderline (unsure how they would judge that because it did hit the backboard first but it was not going to hit the rim or go in.)
• Naz apex floater was borderline.

Chris Finch on how he can clean up Terrence Shannon’s defensive struggles
“It starts with gotta be ready, he’s gotta be engaged, he’s got to be fully commited to that side of the ball... the only way I can clean him up is to sit him on the bench, right? That’s the only way I can clean it up. He knows what we need from him right now. So he’s got to be ready, and he’s got to be ready to execute defensively and there’s no reason he shouldn’t be a good defender with his body type and athleticism”

This new mural at Target Field is really sick! Features many #MNTwins legends such as Mudcat Grant, Earl Battey, and Torii Hunter, as well as Baseball HoFers Roy Campanella, Lou Brock, and Willie Mays.

If the #Vikings decide that now is the time to part ways with T.J. Hockenson, it might be worth shopping him, given how thin the tight end market is, argues @wyattwade91: zonecoverage.com/2026/minnes…

tanking is for losers, winning is for winners- new for @ZoneCoverageMN
The argument for this #Vikings team to tank in hopes of landing another top 10 pick is, frankly, nauseating. @JoshuaBadroos explains why: zonecoverage.com/2025/minnes…

Back on this app and would appreciate a follow! I write about the Vikings, you read about the Vikings—It just makes sense.

Now that it’s official read my breakup letter to Sam. I promise it’ll be cathartic!
The Vikings are breaking up with Sam Darnold, and like any heartbreak, it’s bittersweet.
@NelsonThielen explains why it had to end:👇

I had an existential crisis when thinking about the Vikings' interior defensive line need.
That led to me write about what I think they would ACTUALLY do with a potential addition to the interior pass rush.

I took a look at PFF’s Top 100 Free Agents and juxtaposed it with NFLMockDraftDatabase’s consensus Big Board for the 2025 Draft.
Which of the markets are best suited to fill Minnesota’s needs? Where is patience a virtue, and where do they need to get aggressive?
Will the Vikings spend big in free agency or gamble on the draft? Here's @NelsonThielen's blueprint:👇

Edgerrin Cooper is awesome, but Quay Walker is heading into the final year of his rookie deal. Isaiah McDuffie and Eric Wilson are free agents, and Ty’Ron Hopper played only 18 defensive snaps in 2024.
Off-ball LB is a need.
Even though it often gets overlooked, off-ball linebacker remains a need for the Packers, writes @Aceti_Felipe.

I've been writing a lot about how the 2025 St. Paul Saints might be the best iteration of the team since becoming the #MNTwins Triple-A team.
A big reason for that is the pitching staff they will have throughout the year. My latest at @ZoneCoverageMN
