⚡️To whom so ever it may concern, this car has NMC battery which has done almost 2L kms and still gives the same range ⚡️Also think after 2.5L kms will he be worried about resale? P.S. - Battery was replaced at 65k kms under Hyundai Global recall

EVs that can cover 2.5L KMs with barely any maintenance are called use and throw appliances. ICE vehicles that consume their entire purchase price in fuel + maintenance for 2L KMs are apparently lifelong possesions.

Did 745km in the EV6 yesterday - Bangalore - Shiggaon (near Hubballi) - Bangalore. (Pic1) - Started 8.15am, reached by 1.15pm. Drive back - Started by 5pm, stopped at Zeon Chitradurga for a 14 min charge from 2% - 48%.(Pic 2) Back home by 10.45pm. (Pic 3). Total drive: 745km, drive time: 11 hours 45min hours in total including charging break and traffic jams between Sira-Nelamangala on the return. No drama, no fuss. Fin.

Kia Sorento Hybrid: no lifetime warranty, even its 8-yr/160k km battery warranty is limited to 1st owner. Why the silence on this? EVs offering LTW with the same ownership-transfer restriction faced heavy criticism especially Tata. Shouldn't the same standards apply to everyone?

True. I document each of my trip, EV or ICE. Honestly it's not about saving that hits me for EVs. And even after traveling almost North of India, and Bhutan, I haven't stopped for a charging break more than 20 -30 odd minutes. Also those who follow me would know I avoid merging food and charging breaks as it forces food options, which I cannot. A bigger pack has its advantages. People are stuck in 2022 regarding EV infra and those are who don't EV in the 1st place.
One recurring challenge in the EV conversation is the endless anti-EV discourse on X. 🤦‍♂️⚡ 🏷️ The Biggest Problem With EVs? The Incessant Anti-EV Cataract & Same loop 🔁 fixation. 🏷️ Some X handles repeatedly engage in the same anti-EV debates (which are in line with Anti-ev Cataract) , often without firsthand experience of owning or living with an EV powertrain. 🏷️ The discussion can become a repetitive I label them as “same loop” 🔁, with the same arguments resurfacing day after day — sometimes seemingly driven more by engagement farming (eF) & impressions than by constructive dialogue 🏷️ A certain section of X handles, who don’t even own an EV powertrain, seem to be stuck in an endless anti-EV loop 🔁. 🏷️ It’s almost as if their day begins with an anti-EV dose or a ritual to boost their impressions on X! 😂 🏷️ Ironically, they end up spending their “precious time” — often hours — pushing the same anti-EV narrative. 🏷️ It hardly helps anyone. Instead, they invite unnecessary toxicity from the EV community, when that time could have been spent planning better avenues for them 🤣🤣 & their energy to come out of there loop 🔁 🏷️ Meanwhile, most fence-sitters and people genuinely considering a BEV have already heard the EV community on X and made their informed choice 🏷️ They don’t necessarily need another round of evangelisation. 🏷️ They need to make a choice based on their own usage, requirements and economics — not someone else’s narrative! 🤣🤣 🏷️ Coming to planning: Every one plans that further planning & execution can save both time and money. 🏷️ Why should it be any different when it comes to owning or driving an EV? 🏷️ Some people are willing to invest 30 minutes of their time to save ₹ X. For others, even that calculation doesn’t make sense. And that’s perfectly fine! What seems extremely valuable to one person may not matter to another. The point is simple: planning is a choice, not a burden. And it certainly isn’t a waste of time! The mantra should always be: ✌️ Jio Aur Jeene Do! ✌️ 🏷️ Drive an EV, ICE, HEV or whatever suits your needs. 🏷️ You need Plan your journeys if you enjoy optimising time and leave money part 🏷️ Don’t plan if you don’t want to. 🏷️ But why spend hours trying to convince others that their choices are wrong ? Planning is never a waste of time when it helps you make better decisions! ⚡🚗 P.S. Ironically, I was free during my OPD today and was busy planning my Patiala–Ahmedabad road trip for mid-November! 😂🛣️ @evelectree @Shaggy7979 @PlugInIndia @ferrarirules86 a gaya oh he R & Rona lolz 🤣 @subikash_r @EVZindabad @TorqueIndia @VahanWarta @TeslaClubIN @purohit__anuj @ev_gyan @evgeeksofindia @shyampsunder @BeBoldEV @BunnyPunia

The point isn’t that India’s EV infrastructure is perfect. It isn’t. The point is that calling it “ZERO reliable infrastructure” ignores a growing body of real-world evidence. ⚡ EVs are not for everyone, everywhere, just yet. But they are already working for far more journeys than many people assume. @Shaggy7979 @ferrarirules86 @BeBoldEV @EVZindabad @rakeshkaswan @AsheeshAroraEV @subikash_r @thesureshg @shyampsunder

Weren't we doing EF? Because an EV positive response to his posts means this: xitter.cf/cbe_sam/status/2110649… P.S. - I didn't engage with his previous post - xitter.cf/cbe_sam/status/2110428… And if we are having an actual car conversation, this is what you get extra when you pay ₹3L extra for the Harrier.EV RWD. So you get more equipment + fuel savings
By the time I'm starting to see the bright side of EVs, my friend who bought a Tata Harrier EV 8 months back is repenting that decision. He says that, while EV is a great option for the city, on highways, when he frequently travels to Kerala and Goa, the EV curtails his freedom to move. He says that, whatever EV fanboys say, the moment the battery drops 30%, he starts to plan for recharging the car. That means, after 300 km, his mind starts to worry about charging the car instead of focusing on the road. In the past, when he had a diesel Verna, he fill the tank and goes to Kerala in one shot. Now, he stops for charging at least twice, sometimes three times, because his village doesn't have the charging infra. He is saying that he's already tired of the level of planing required before and during the trip. And his another crib is that he now has to eat where there's a charger, spend 45 mins to 1 hour instead of 30 mins lunch break earlier, and sometimes takes an unnecessary tea break in a big hotel just to top up his battery instead of a road side bakery that he used to stop earlier.

Not a day is passing by without seeing ICE car fires, especially most of the times it's Maruti Suzuki, this time it's Ertiga. Yet MS always escapes the flak. @Sachin_950 @volklub @ferrarirules86 @evelectree @ThisIsStunner @TorqueIndia @PulakPrakriti @nickylive @20_1NM
🚨 Parked car catches fire in Uppal 🔥 A parked Maruti Suzuki Ertiga caught fire within Uppal police station limits in Hyderabad around 4.30 pm on Wednesday. 🚒 Firefighters rushed to the spot after locals alerted them and brought the blaze under control. ⚡️People keep on saying that the govt should provide benefits to hybrids; they conveniently forget that the govt did provide benefits during FAME 1. ⚡️ The govt gave the Japanese and all the other OEMs an opportunity between 2015 and 2019. They squandered it by launching Mild, aka Fake Hybrid; at that time, Maruti pocketed a minimum of ₹ 150- 200 cr in subsidies. ⚡️If they wanted the "SAILAAB", they would have launched and researched proper hybrids for India almost 10 years back ⚡️Why give them a free pass for the wrong they did years back? Evidence - 95 cr worth of FAME 1 subsidies - autocarpro.in/news-national/… DRI notice for ₹70 cr worth of Customs subsidies timesofindia.indiatimes.com/…
Put Hybrid in 5% GST slab with no registration cost and see the sales Sailaab aa jayega

Hybrid is rightly positioned where it should be. People are not considering it as a value buy. Govt also has the same intention. Pay premium if you want to go for hybrid or go electric...simple. Hybrid actually doesn't solve any problem govt has at hand. It still runs on fossil

Hey @Tataev Your Ira.ev app is so shitty that I can't even renew my subscription. Stuck on loading screen forever. Tried at least 3 times in last 3 days. PS: I have to renew the subscription only because it's tied to LTW otherwise it's an app that deserves a trashbin!
