Very cool. Any "non-invasive neuralink" will be in huge demand soon
We’ve raised $1.3M from YC & Afore Capital so you never have to type or speak again. Typing is slow. Talking into your computer is awkward. Subvocal fixes both Our glasses give you the speed of speech without you making a sound or touching a keyboard. It tracks your internal speech muscles with non-contact sensing and decodes silent, almost invisible mouthing into text at more than 200 words/min. Pre-orders are now live at: subvocal.co/preorder?utm_sou…

optimizing for benchmarks shows how out of touch they are. Google fumbled the AI race so hard that "Worked at Google" will only start becoming a negative hiring signal...
I did say we'd be releasing our models periodically...introducing Gemini 4 Carbon, our next frontier model. Following Argon's release just two weeks ago, Carbon shows the pace at which we’re pushing the frontier, it ranks #1 on the recently updated v5.0 of @ArtificialAnlys Intelligence Index at 59. It also leads across key cybersecurity evaluations scoring 88.2% on SEC-bench Pro for finding vulnerabilities, 54.8% on ExploitGym for exploitation, and 71.0% on CWE-bench for patching. We’re seeing significant improvements in long-horizon tasks even compared to Argon, and we’ve strengthened frontier safeguards. As we did with Argon, we’re going to roll it out gradually + responsibly. Some trusted cyber defenders will get access starting this week. We'll be expanding it to more partners through our Fairwind Program, ahead of wider availability soon, so hang tight!

Yh thats not how the real world works unfortunately. And this very clearly sounds like AI. Hard problem.
whenever tech like this is released, there's a few month period where you can sell it to businesses, here's how i'd do it... > find industries that take a sh*t ton of phone calls > build an AI receptionist that isn't a pain to talk to for each one > program it to answer every inbound call, qualify leads, and book appointments > cold outreach to dentists, med spas, HVAC companies, law firms, restaurants, etc. > charge a flat fee to set it up + monthly maintenance

Yep, it's the best combo rn. But who knows next month
I actually upgraded my Anthropic sub because of how well Opus 5.5 works with Sol 6.1. It's the best combo I can imagine right now. Opus is the project manager I talk to, while Sol workers execute and solve problems on their own. Astra is there for feedback on very critical features. Talking to Opus is much nicer than talking to Sol, and Opus seems to think things through more from the user's perspective rather than from a technical POV. On the other hand, Sol 6.1, compared side by side with Opus 5.5, still has the upper hand in technical depth, problem-solving, and computer use in my existing large-scale projects and workflows. That, along with how efficient they are, makes Sol workers the perfect execution agents, IMO. I know that Opus is better at prototyping and one-shotting stuff, primarily because it's stronger end-to-end with better UI and visual design, but that's not my use case atm. I still wish OpenAI had a good designer model. People love Opus because it covers the whole spectrum, not just technical problem-solving and computer use workflows. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this setup.

BREAKING: water found in ocean
Just spoke to the Head of AI at a huge company. The #1 thing they're struggling with is... what do I do with the AI laggards at our company? Like most companies, they’ve found that a Super Pareto Principle is true within their org. 10% of their employees are responsible for 90% of the uplift in productivity/token usage from software engineering to non-technical knowledge work. They’ve spent a lot of time & resources on AI enablement from LLM foundations to function-specific trainings and skill building. And yet, the power law of productivity increases hasn’t budged. So now they’re left with a few sobering thoughts and hard questions: 1) 90% of people are overpaid and 10% are underpaid 2) We’d be better off allocating tokens proportionally to the power law, but how do we do that without killing culture? 3) Significant layoffs are likely warranted and wouldn’t impact overall output, but cultural backlash is a big concern? 4) How do we hire more power law people as a non technology company? 5) Is all of our efforts on training and enablement ACTUALLY worth it? 6) How do we not experience a brain drain where the top 10% all leave because they want to be surrounded by other AI-native 10x’ers?

Food for thought: 5 yrs ago u picked a PaaS because the UI felt good + u didnt want to mnage the infra DX was the moat Today an agent can deploy and monitor everything And it doesnt care about pretty squares It just needs an MCP, logs it can read and a server it can control

The more pain you can eat on behalf of your customers, the bigger your moat
Your job is to eat the pain. @aarondfrancis taught us all that pain doesn't disappear. Someone eats the pain. The questions is "Who will eat it? You or your customer?" Or as Aaron put it, "Be the sin eater."

Never default to D1 for any projects on cloudflare, use planetscale w/ hyperdrive; save yourself the headache (and bill jumpscare)
TanStack Start 1.0 🔥 In less than a minute we create and deploy a TanStack application, then add a D1 database... Deploying on Cloudflare is TOO EASY

More like 'Employee-as-a-Service' then eventually 'Department-as-a-Service'
I think the next big opportunity isn’t micro-SaaS. AI is getting insanely good at coding and building software. Instead of selling another tool, we should start selling Workflows as a Service (WaaS). People don’t want more software. They want results.

This is your competition anon The bar is so low. Nothing is 'solved' the way these kids make it appear Meat proxy influencer accs like this only show how little effort and intention the majority of people out there, put into the things they build blind following the blind
i can’t comprehend why people still type the same prompt into Claude Code every day three files and your daily routine becomes three commands: → /ship commits, writes the PR and opens it → /fix reads the error, finds the cause and patches it → /explain turns any file into a 5-line summary your best prompts, one slash away paste this into Claude Code Create these three files in ~/.claude/commands/ and show me what you made. ~/.claude/commands/ship.md Review the staged changes, write a clear commit message, commit, push the branch and open a PR with a short summary of what changed and why. ~/.claude/commands/fix.md Read this error: $ARGUMENTS Find the root cause, not the symptom. Patch it, run the tests, and tell me in two lines what was wrong. ~/.claude/commands/explain.md Explain $ARGUMENTS in 5 lines: what it does, what calls it, what it depends on, what could break it, and where to start reading.

“I’m building a software factory” “Cool what can you do with it” “Build anything” “What have you built with it” “I can build anything” “Yes but what?” “For now I am building the builder"
Replying to @poteto @bot
90% of my tokens is going to the construction of my software factory, designed for rust apps. obs-rust is just an example of what it can do. I’m at ~2.5k PRs for this month, same as you.

State of 'Tech' companies without a technical leader. Always has been. Non-technical founder wants SaaS margins but wants as little pushback as possible. Engineers lose care. Become meat proxies.
harsh phrase im stealing from the internet meat proxy its an engineer who copies a task from slack into claude, waits, then pastes the pr link back into slack thats not a job if all you do is move a prompt from one window to another i can just do that myself the engineers who matter now are product-first or foundational everyone in the middle is optimizing themselves out of the loop

AI can write the code. AI can write the docs. AI can write the tests. AI can even write the PR description explaining why the code is definitely correct. What it cannot reliably do is decide what should be built, ask the uncomfortable question in the room, convince people to change direction, or notice that everyone is solving the wrong problem. As the cost of producing output keeps dropping, the value shifts to judgment, communication, taste, context, and knowing what not to do. So yes, soft skills matter. They are just becoming increasingly hard requirements. Soft skills are not really "soft" anymore.

(this is sarcasm) (this is also proof they are the worst tech company to want to be employed by as a SWE - their Engineers don't care. They're decent at hardware but that's about it)
