I don't want to oversell it, but PROJECT HAIL MARY is alternately hilarious, heartrending, and thrilling—it's just pretty close to perfect pop entertainment. Early contender for best of the year, certainly in the blockbuster division. thebulwark.com/p/project-hai…
Iphone found in Gunnersbury park yesterday (Sunday). No medical ID and it's locked so no way of identifying the owner. Could you possibly retweet so this gets to them. I'm keeping it charged in case the owner activates lost mode.
One of my first jobs was a six month tour with Ian in A Passage To India. I can honestly say that no one taught me more about how to carry yourself in a company than him. He was good to his core. I've spent my life trying to live up to the example he set.

.@JoshMalina is truly the best of men. I had the joy of sharing a dressing room and a stage with him last year and his kindness and decency continue to inspire me
Started tutoring a first grader today with @ReadingPartners. Had a blast, and can’t wait to work with him again tomorrow. In Los Angeles there are still 150+ kids on the waitlist to be enrolled, all of whom are significantly behind in their reading skills. Volunteer your time!

A bit more information on these Beatles movies.
The Paul McCartney film will focus mostly on how he went from reading out a simple website address to doing an accidental rasta voice.

It was the best of times and @JoshMalina is truly the best of men.
Spent the summer yelling at Jonny Lee Miller. Can recommend.

Courtesy of my friend @_AaronNeil - at the National Theatre, Gambon took to firing water pistols at actors smoking out of their dressing room windows. The other actors got water pistols too in retaliation. So Gambon rigged up a hose. Didn’t get that with Gielgud.
One more week. Gonna miss working with this fabulous bunch of goons
(Also, that picture of Jonny Lee Miller, Tanya Reynolds and me warming up is pure Legz Akimbo Theatre Company…)

One of the earliest internet finds for me, Paul Sykes. An aria of bullshit. Never forget him, though. The fluency.

I'd love to have been present at the drunken evening when Ringo's steel furniture business was spawned. A few months later he's on Blue Peter thinking 'what the f***have I done?'
#OnThisDay 1971: Ringo Starr showcased more than just his musical prowess after the Beatles' breakup. In this clip he unveils his steel furniture creations to John Noakes.
