Per BLS data analyzed by the Center for Immigration Studies, since February 2020, about 88% of net U.S. job growth—over 4 million positions—has gone to foreign-born workers (including legal and illegal immigrants), while native-born employment rose by just 12%. From 2021 to mid-2024, foreign-born captured around 41% per some reports, but the trend holds with immigration driving labor force expansion. Native participation lags due to demographics, yet this disparity fuels underemployment concerns for citizens in entry-level roles.

10.7 degreed STEM workers in the U.S.
There are about 3.5-4 million foreign visa holders working in degreed STEM jobs. That's almost entirely comprised of H-1B/H4/L1/L2/01 and Green Card holders.
There are about 3 million foreign born, naturalized citizens working in degreed STEM jobs.
About 62% of degreed STEM workers are foreign born.
How is that 'normal'? Native born Americans are being displaced from STEM jobs at an absurd rate.
Couple this with 200k STEM jobs outsourced every year, and millions of American STEM jobs offshored.
Do you start to understand what we are concerned about?
This is nothing short of the ethnic cleansing of native born Americans from STEM.
