Hey everyone.
We want to address the recent wallet sell-off and clear up any misunderstandings. First and foremost, we apologize for the delay in sharing this update.
Our priority was to ensure we had all the facts before making an official statement.
What Happened?
- A deployer wallet (third-party) holding 1% of the supply was compromised and sold overnight.
- All other team-held supply remains safe and is unlinked from the affected wallet.
- Prior to the incident, two anonymous ransom emails were sent to a team member minutes before the compromised tokens were transferred and sold.
Our Next Steps
1. We will repurchase 1% of the supply and lock it immediately via Steamflow.
2. We are assembling an advisory board of experienced builders to help navigate future challenges.
