New record 2.66 million foreigners now live in South Korea.
New data from the Interior Ministry shows that the number of foreign residents living in South Korea rose for the fourth consecutive year to reach a record high of 2,662,967 foreign residents as of Nov 1, 2025. International students jumped 17.6% to 274,329. Foreign workers hit 514,043.
That is 5.1% of the population, the highest share ever. And it's only rapidly increasing.
Korea is going through an existential crisis and will be utterly replaced in a few generations if Korea doesn't reverse course.
