We have decided not to hold 2024 ICAWC, which was due to be held in Bucharest later this year, while we carry out a thorough review of the event, to ensure we are delivering the maximum impact to continue to work towards a better world for our furry friends.
Thank you to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, orgs & staff who have each played a vital part at previous conferences, by sharing knowledge and expertise to improve animal welfare on a global level, and giving valuable feedback which will be included in the review process 💛🐾

And that's a wrap, #ICAWC #ICAWC23 was both educational & inspiring. We learned that all stake holders have challenges when it comes to animal welfare / funding / rehoming / disaster recovery / inoculation / space, but we all strive for the betterment of these important companions' lives in our own lives.
Cyprus is such a beautiful country. We met many new & old friends. Thanks again to the team at @_DTWorldwide & @DogsTrust

A powerful & passionate talk at #ICAWC by Vanessa Waddon founder & senior director of ops @HopeRescue about their work to ban #greyhoundracing in Wales. Her description of watching a dog break his leg & 'scooping' him off the track will stay with me.

@_DTWorldwide An interesting talk from @sara_turetta of @SavetheDogsSTD about taking on a challenge of #collaborating with another charity, when your existing charity is in another country. They went ahead proving that fortune favours the brave in #animalwelfare.
