From nanoscale structures to deeper insights: how advanced surface analysis helps reveal material properties!
In this study, researchers at ICMAB investigated the microstructure of organic semiconductor materials for photovoltaic applications using #AFM measurements
combined with detailed surface characterization.
In order to transform raw #AFM data into meaningful results, they used Mountains® software to process topography data, perform advanced 3D visualization and quantify roughness and height parameters.
This enabled them to extract key
insights & better understand the intrinsic relationship between surface morphology and material performance!
