Parents care about science, engineering and technology careers. But many don't feel confident supporting young people into these pathways. At #ASDC2026, Senior Content Manager Rebecca Hale shared our latest research and explored how we can better engage parents and families.

It’s disappointing to see the continued decline in design and technology (D&T) entries in this year's GCSE results, down 2.3% on 2025, particularly with girls. Other STEM subjects remain stable but the D&T numbers are concerning. Read our full response bit.ly/4xOxZyy
